Latham was a logical location for my dental practice. Having been raised less than 2 miles from my office on Troy Schenectady Road, the area feels like home. I think of myself as being quite fortunate in truly enjoying my profession. I have the opportunity to get to know many different, great people as patients that I also get to call my friends. I appreciate the continual advances in the field of dentistry and incorporate those that benefit my patients.
Having received my Bachelors in Science from Siena College, my Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the State University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with thesis honors and completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at St. Clares Hospital in Schenectady. I then worked as an associate for three and a half years. It was in 1994 that I decided to establish a practice focused on my patients needs and concerns in Latham. The facility was compact until the expansion in 2005 which saw a growth and modernization into the office you see today. With a keen eye on advancements in the dental field, most recently we have expanded our computer network and integrated digital radiographs (x-rays). Never losing our focus on each individual patient, we treat our patients the way we would like to be treated. We value our patients and know their time is just as valuable as our time. We pride ourselves in seeing our patients at their scheduled times with very few exceptions. We give our individual attention to each patient, allowing ample time to treat their needs. Its a great relationship, we appreciate their time, they appreciate our time. One of the beautiful facets of dentistry is that you almost always have options. We will review your concerns, detail your options, including benefits and risks for each, and be non-judgmental of any decision you make. My wife and I moved to the Capital District from Central NY a few years ago. I had been with my previous dentist for over 30 years, so I obviously had concerns about starting over with someone new. After visiting a couple of dentists in this area, I decided to try Dr. Maloney. His reviews were favorable, he's relatively close to where I live, and I figured I'd give him a chance. Best move I've made, well, since I moved. Dr. Maloney is patient, caring, and explains all procedures and options carefully. I feel very comfortable in his office. I don't expect to be around for another 30 years LOL, but he's my guy moving forward and I would recommend him to anyone without any hesitation. Thank you.

Dr. Maloney and staff are all very kind and knowledgeable. I reverently relocated to this area and had been seeing my previous dentist for years. I was nervous to see someone different. I am very happy I went to this office. Excellent experience. Very clean and professional.

Dr mahloney is the best dentist I've ever gone to. He is very thorough n since I've been going to him I've had less problems with my teeth. The hygienists he hires do an amazing job of cleaning my teeth. I have always left his office feeling very confident that my teeth were being well cared for . I highly recommend dr Mahloney. 5 stars for sure

I am glad I found Dr. Maloney! My previous dentist retired some time ago and I have been looking for a good dentist. I feel I have found one. The office is spotless and modern, the staff is very pleasant and professional. Dr. Maloney clearly understands his profession, he explained what was needed and performed the procedure quickly. My problem was resolved. I will be returning in the future and would not hesitate to refer anyone here. As an update: Dr Maloney has continued to do great service. He completed an implant for me that I am very happy with. Recently he squeezed me into the schedule to handle a toothache. Top notch dental practice!

Dr Maloney is the kindest, most gentle and caring dentist I have ever been to. My children have gone to him as well and they love him. Best of all he sends you a Birthday card. Our family always jokes that the first birthday card in the mail is always from Dr. Maloney and his staff :)

Top Notch guy, went in to get a second opinion and he took his time and explained everything. Office is clean.. equipment looks top of the line, staff is nice. Did not even ask for any money for the visit...Usually they charge you before they even look you in the eye. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Maloney has been my Dentist for two years. He has fixed problems that have lingered for years. He is attentive, tech savy and very knowledgeable. He is always prompt. He spends the time needed to insure your dental health. The staff is very friendly and also very knowledgeable. The office is spotless and very comfortable. Dr. Maloney will give his opinion and then lets you make the decisions. If he thinks you need a consultation with another specialist, he does not hesitate to refer you. I would recommend Dr. Maloney to anyone looking for a dentist you could trust with you dental health.

I have lived many places and therefore seen many dentists. Dr. Maloney and his staff are amazing, I would never consider going anywhere else. The office is immaculate, they always run on time, and he is a very progressive dentist who offers many suggestions to help with any problem. I hate when a doctor simply tells you what they are going to do, I appreciate when options are discussed with me, and I trust him completely.
