MICHAEL JOSEPH AGUIRRE attended Universidad Central of Ecuador Dental School where hegraduated with aDoctor in Dental Surgery Degree. He later earned his Certificate in Orthodontic Specialty from University of Florida Dental School, Orthodontic Residency.Dr. Aguirre is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.From 1981 to 2011, he worked self-employed as anOrthodontic Specialist. Since then until present, he has been volunteering pro-bono in the field of general dentistry and laboratory procedures, caring for the needy in Gainesville and the surrounding areas. Some of the dental clinics are ACORN, Gainesville Community Ministry, Care to Share, We Care, Good Samaritan Clinic, the Baptist Church traveling clinic on a bus!
LUCY CORRADINI AGUIRRE graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor in Design within the College of Architecture. She designed the 3 dental offices Dr. Aguirre used to practice orthodontics in Gainesville. She has helped Dr. Aguirre as his dental assistant at the pro-bono community clinics in general dentistry. Having grown up in Italy and Ecuador, she is fluent in Italian and Spanish. She enjoys all sports including golfing with Dr. Aguirre, tennis, Pilates, interval training, cycling, yoga, swimming, jewelry-making, acrylic painting and watercolors.
