Dr. Michael Guirguis has been practicing dentistry since 1993. During that time his love for his profession has grown, and he has continued to offer the highest quality of care through his commitment to continuing education, and the latest in dental technology.
Dr. Guirguis did his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University, and graduated in 1989 with a bachelor of science. He graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicinein 1993. Dr. Guirguis chose to pursue a residency program at MountSinai Medical Center, with emphasis on Oral surgery, Implantology, Reconstructive and Estheticdentistry.Dr. Guirguis is a faculty member at Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine, as a clinical professor in the Advanced General Dentistry department. Heis a member of the Academy of General Dentistry,The International College of Oral Implantologists, theAmerican Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association,the Cleveland Dental Society, and the Hilcrest StudyClub.
Dr Guirguis travels annualy to do mission work in the small village of Higuay, Dominican Republic, to deliver dental care for underpriviliged and previously unserved patients. It has been an experience that has changed his life as well as the lives of the villagers that live there and its surrounding community.
Dr.Guirguis is a native of Cleveland and wanted tolive and work within his Community. He is married to Maureen, and he is a dedicatedfamily man, who is active in the lives of his six children. He is also an active member of St. Marks Coptic Orthodox Church. Dr.Guirguis has high moral and ethical values which are the core of his personal and professional life.

A 20 year old crown split and fell out after office hours on a friday. I called and left a message. Even though he was out of town, Dr. Guirguis called back and checked if I were experiencing any discomfort. Since I weren't, he saw me first thing Monday morning, providing a temp crown so we could go on a long-planned vacation that very day. I call that excellent-level care!
I've been going here my entire adult life and I have always felt like I was in good hands. They really know what they are doing and it shows. He truly cares about his patients. He will inform you of everything he is doing, he's very gentle and your level of comfort through any procedure is a priority to him. The staff is also great! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Another great visit to the dentist thanks to Dr. Guirguis and his wonderful staff. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Guirguis for 20 years now, everyone is always kind and friendly. We moved and now have to drive almost an hour to the office, but it is worth it. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic office and dentist. I had a situation where one of my crowns fell out and on the Monday they were able to get me in quickly to have it fixed. Not the first time I've had some emergency situation but they always came through. I've been patient for over 20 years! That says allot!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gurguis' for ten years now. I always look forward to my visit because it's quick and painless . Dr. Gurguis is kind and thorough. The staff is always polite. It's like- every six months- I get to catch up on life with old friends. I would highly recommend this office.

As always the staff is welcoming and professional. The practice is family oriented and appointments available for everyone. Very thorough cleanings and walk out with a glistening smile. Love making next appointment before leaving office and never a problem should need to reschedule. Location is ideal. We often recommend family/friends to Dr. Guirguis and will continue to do so.

First time in the office and first time getting my teeth cleaned for the first time in a LONG time. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful checking in, and everyone who I talked to was beyond understanding and empathetic. You can tell the folks working there very much care about the practice, but more importantly, the patients. Getting more work done soon, but 5 star experience for sure!

Usually, I wouldn't care too much to write a review for anything, let alone a dentist's office, but Dr. Guirguis and his team absolutely changed my life. I have struggled with my dental health all my life, which has consistently affected my confidence and overall happiness as well. Dr. Guirguis and his team helped me through my issues step by step, caring for all of my needs. He truly makes each procedure, painful or not, as quick, easy, and painless as possible all while looking and feeling amazing afterwards. I always struggled specifically with needles, which he knew, and he made sure I was always prepared for injections and after lots of practice I went from sobbing after every shot to 1-2 tears after every shot! After years of planning and waiting, Dr. Guirguis rebuilt my smile with 6 crowns on my top front teeth. I genuinely feel like a new person, and the love I have for my smile is unlike it's ever been before. I feel like myself again, and I'm finally happy to be showing off my smile. I will never truly know how to thank the team for what they've done for me; I am eternally grateful.
