Practicing in East Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Grizzaffi is a General Dentist with advanced training in Implant Dentistry & Intravenous Sedation treatment techniques. Dr. Grizzaffi earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Grizzaffi completed a one year General Practice Residency Program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Soon after Dr. Grizzaffi began private practice as a General Dentist in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dr. Grizzaffi performs both the Surgical & Prosthetic (restorative) phases of Implant Dentistry. This means that the entire comprehensive procedure will be done at the same office from start to finish. Maintenance is also very important and who better to maintain these advanced services than the rendering doctor and staff.
Parenteral techniques, which include Intravenous Sedation, also requires additional training. Dr. Grizzaffi has had a great deal of experience in this field. Dr. Grizzaffi received his training in Parenteral Sedation at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein Medical College, in New York City. Dr. Grizzaffi continues to maintain his privileges as a member on staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital serving as an attending in the department of dentistry. Dr. Grizzaffi holds both Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support status from The American Heart Association. The Parenteral Sedation Permit held by Dr. Grizzaffi is awarded by the State to those who meet the high qualifications as set forth by the New Jersey Dental Board. To date, there are few General Dentists in the State who hold this permit. Dr. Grizzaffi also has a wide base of experience in all phases of General, Implant, Surgical and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Grizzaffi also has a great deal of experience working on medically compromised patients. Since he maintains admitting privileges at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital he is able to treat patients who cannot be treated in a typical office setting due to having significant medical conditions (Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Alzheimers, etc.). These patients who arent able to be treated in the usual manner can have their dental needs attended to.
