Dr. Michael G. Moore comes from a long history of dentists. Years before he decided on a career, his grandfather and father were well-respected dentists in the community. Observing their commitment to a conservative approach, Dr. Moore watched his father and grandfather carefully treat their patients as they would their own family.

When Dr. Moore continued in the family profession, he knew hed make the same commitment to excellence. After dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in the United States Air Force. After finishing his residency, he served two more years before joining his father. I was exposed to a great deal of intense training in techniques that others coming straight out of dental school didnt have the opportunity to learn, he said.

He still practiced with his father, Dr. Monte G. Moore. My dad has vast knowledge and experience and we communicate really well with one another. As they expanded their practice, they added Dr. Teresa Ladner to their team. Dr. Ladner has been delivering excellent and compassionate dentistry to Clear Lake area patients since 1988. Dedicated to achieving outstanding results, she is experienced in cosmetic dentistry as well as in all other aspects of dentistry. All three dentists hold professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society.

We strive to offer the very best treatment possible, Dr. Moore said. We learn our patients main concerns and provide detailed information about their oral health to help them make informed decisions on treatment. Many people dont realize how oral health impacts overall health and wellness.

The dentist and his team of hygienists and assistants provide a range of services, from preventive care to full-mouth rehabilitation and implant restoration, with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Moore is concerned about the artistic aspect and strives to obtain a natural looking result. The idea is not to place stark white crowns, but to make the patients teeth as pretty and natural as possible, to blend in with the face. They work with the most elite group of lab technicians to meet their high artistic and functional standards. In the last four years they have performed over five hundred all-porcelain restorations of the anterior (front) teeth.

Eight years ago they moved into a new building with state-of-the-art equipment. Combining hundreds of hours of continuing education with conscientious care and attention to detail, the dentists at Aesthetic & Comprehensive Dentistry are devoted to enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using advanced procedures that will result in beautiful, long-lasting smiles.

I made an emergency appointment last minute and they immediately got me in. My whole experience was amazing and that's very rare for me as I've had the worst experiences with dentist my whole life. I felt so safe & acknowledged by everyone in the office. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction, my appointment was at 8 am & I was done by 8:20! I sincerely wanted to asked the staff if I could give them all a hug because I was in soooo much pain & I was immediately relived! Dr. Moore is amazing & I felt absolutely no pain, I will tell everyone I know about this place! Thank you so much to Dr.Moore & the entire staff!

I will not be returning to this dentist office (Aesthetic and Comprehensive Dentistry/Michael G. Moore Dentistry - Clear Lake) again. I find Dr. Moore to be unnecessarily rough while doing his procedures. He is also rude, aggressive and condescending. I just left an appointment today that will serve as my last. I had a cap put on. Dr. Moore was extremely rough and had zero compassion when I told him that I was in pain and that what he was doing was hurting me. In fact, it seemed that the more I spoke of how painful what he was doing was, the rougher he became. At some point he told me "you've told me 5 times this hurts and 5 times I'm telling you this is normal". I've had a cap placed before, albeit a while ago, and I've never felt like the raw nerve in my tooth was being viciously scraped. More importantly, I've never had a dentist so lacking in compassion. When we were done, and I asked how long I could or should expect to feel soreness, he began to berate me about expecting things to happen overnight. Given that I was simply asking what to expect, it no longer felt like we were talking about the same thing, and perhaps he had some other agenda to promote. In any case, I got out of there and will never return. I would not wish such a dentist on an enemy. There are nicer, gentler dentists around. I will be finding one. Lastly, he brings his dog into the office, and sometimes makes his dental assistants take the dog out for potty breaks. This seems outside of their professional scope, and I witnessed the look of displeasure on the face of the young dental assistant when she was asked to do it, so I saw that she didnt want to. But, of course, she couldn't simply tell him no. So she did what she was told. That bothered me, along with the fact that having his dog in the office with him, and taking him out to the potty while actively working on patients, doesn't seem very hygienic. I've seen Dr. Moore go from taking his dog out to potty (previous visit) to directly being inside of the mouth of a patient. I was repulsed, and should have left then. In any case, I know now and neither my husband or I will be returning. Patients deserve kindness, compassion, and professional service. I did not get these things from Dr. Moore, and my husband and I will not be back. I pray Dr. Moore sees this review and decides to make some changes to the way he serves his patients. At least, before they too see that they deserve better.

I went here I had a cap come off then they said it needed another cap which was 1200 dollars out of pocket for me and I thought okay its been give or take 10 years since I had it originally. so it was in 1200 later.. Then 4 months later it came off again.??? what.. I go back the Dr. Moore said well we knew it wasn't good to begin with??? what and then said for 500 MORE he could just add it to a flipper I have??? I told the lady that gave me the estimate I wasn't going to waste her time and mine that he should have told me that in the beginning instead I had a 300.00 a month rent a tooth.. for him to come back. not make it right but just add another 500 to my bill.. needless to say unless you have amazing Insurance and DEEP POCKETS.. DONT GO HERE. They definitely are not looking out for your best interest just how to better line their pockets. My last bill he charged me was 37.00 for that office visit. in which I refused to pay because he should have added that to the 1200 he scammed me out 4 months prior.

100% satisfied. You are going to get Grade A dental work here. Don't take a chance anywhere else. Have had extraction, root canal, filling, etc. Minimal to no pain from any procedures done during or after. You get what you pay for here.

My previous dentist created this fear in me when it came to anything. After going to Dr. Moore he made me feel like I was in good hands. Also, his staff is incredible and super welcoming. Instantly felt like family!

The dentist just goes in and does things without explaining or getting verbal consent... kind of scary and unethical

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this office regarding registration under the Active Duty Dental Program. The office claimed that they met the requirements of the program and would honor all Tricare related dental contracts, yet they insisted that I pay an ADA recommended, COVID related, PPE fee. True, the fee is only $8, but under the contract rules of Tricare, active duty service members shall not pay any additional fees or payments under the rules of the program. I tried to professionally and politely explain this to the staff and was met with a firm stance that I would be paying it or I would be better suited to find another dentist. This office is in violation of the Tricare contract and should be removed from being an ADDP member. I do realize that a lot of red tape and government regulations are a bunch of BS, but then don't accept a government contract. If you make a contract, then keep and honor it. It made me uncomfortable thinking of where else they may be cutting corners, trying to manipulate billing, etc. This next part is hearsay, but the Tricare representative also called the dental office while I was on hold and she claimed she was met with hostility from the staff to include the actual dentist. I was not privy to that conversation but worth noting for this review. I cannot recommend this dentist for any military members.

Excellent dentist and staff! I had teeth cleanings and a dental implant done by Dr. Moore and his hygienists over the last two years. I was always well taken care of, and everyone always had great communication so I was never surprised about what would occur during a procedure or how much it would cost. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Moore and his team! You will be in good hands!
