Dr. Michael G. Long was born and raised in Fresno, CA and his family has been living here for three generations. He is committed to providing comfortable and comprehensive family dental care to his patients and takes great pride in delivering affordable and quality patient care that is second to none.

He graduated from Fresno High in 1972. He then attended and graduated from the University of Pacific at Stockton in 1976. In 1980, Dr. Long received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco.

He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Fresno-Madera Dental Society and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Long also serves as a peer review board member for the Fresno-Madera Dental Society. In order to best serve his patients, he spends several hours in continuing education and training in various aspects of dentistry.

He is happily married to his high-school sweetheart, Debbie Howell, for 41 years. They have three sons: Conner, Chris and Jordan, who are married. In his free time, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren, fine dining and golfing.

My favorite thing about dentistry is helping people have a beautiful smile. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Long is that he takes pride in his work and he really enjoys dentistry. I am a native of Fresno, and live in Clovis. I have three children, two boys and a little girl. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

MELANIE (RDH) My primary duty is patient education, including treatment options and home care recommendations. Ive been with Dr. Long since 2002 and have been a dental hygienist for 22 years. My favorite thing about dentistry is the evolving technology and patient products. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Long is the team camaraderie and friendly atmosphere. Im a native of Fresno and resident of Clovis. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking and camping and I also volunteer for Tree Fresno. You might not know that dentistry can be fun!

The thing I like best about Dr. Long is that he is patient and calm and we have a good working relationship. Im a native of Kingsburg. I have two wonderful boys. I enjoy coloring and taking my boys to the park. We are very involved at our church and different activities.

I love people; being able to serve and help others is why I chose to become a hygienist. I have many valued friendships that have blossomed from one-on-one time in my dental chair. In my downtime I enjoy hiking, anything outdoors, spending time with my pets and as most of my patients know, my passion in life is slalom waterskiing!

I like getting together with friends and family in my spare time. I love to read, go to the movies and eat out at our local restaurants.

My favorite thing about dentistry is the ability to improve the health of the patients I see. There are two things I like about working with Dr. Long. I appreciate his professionalism that has come with his many years of practice and I also enjoy his sense of humor. I am a native of Fresno. I had a 6 month cleaning by Melanie today. As per the last 30 years, she did an amazing job! Dr Long will see me in two weeks to build me a tooth to implant. His work, too, had been amazing for me and my family for many, many years. Totally pleased with this practice!!

Awesome experience with Dr. Bohn and his team. Everyone was professional yet personable. The team was very knowledgeable and provided tips on how to keep my teeth clean. Would definitely recommend their office to others.

All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Dr Long and Dr Bohn are amazing and knowledgeable. I got my teeth cleaned and the Dental hygienist are so gentle and they take there time. Best dental place in town. Highly recommended.

Dr.Bohn is sensitive to the needs of his patients and takes the opportunity to listen to their needs. This was my first encounter with Dr. Bohn and I have only seen Dr. Long in the past for over 25 years.

I saw Dr. Bohn today to fix a broken molar with a large filling- it was a little complicated because I also am in the middle of orthodontic treatment with Invisalign aligners. He was able to restore my broken tooth perfectly using the Invisalign template so my aligners still fit. No more cold sensitivity - happy patient!! We have been long time patients of Dr Long, and Dr. Bohn is a great addition to his practice.
