Michael E. Simony, D.D.S., was the first dental student to ever receive an honorary Concurrent Resolution by the Michigan House of Representatives and Senate in honor of his research and lecture presentation to health professionals across the state. His award-winning presentation topic was on the oral manifestations of AIDS.
Upon graduation from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1992, he was invited to return as a prosthodontic instructor for the school. Dr. Simony completed an internship at the Peter Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in Florida in 1993. In 2001, Dr. Simony completed the F.O.R.C.E. International Orthodontic internship in Birmingham, Michigan, as well as the achievement of Invisalign Certification.

My husband and I love dr. Simony! After having many horrifying previous dentists we are very happy to have found him. Him and his staff are very courteous and caring when it comes to having anxiety and making sure I'm not in pain. Very happy with him as our dentist and he does beautiful work!

Dr Massaroni is very patient and kind. He always takes the time to make me feel at ease and explain procedures. I'm a very anxious person at the dentist and I have had a lot of work needing to be done cosmetically. They are also excellent with my 3 year old daughter! I'm happy I chose Simony dental group

The worst experience ever. Extreme damage was done to my teeth when the assistant was trying to remove temporary crowns. She kept trying and finally said that she was going to let him remove them because she could not do it. She came back and told me he told her to keep trying and he would be in momentarily. Well in the process of trying to remove them she broke one tooth and chipped porcelain off of another, the damage was about $9,000 total. He came in looked at what happened, tossed the instruments down on the tray and walked out without saying one word. I left in tears. I called the office and spoke with the manager, she stated someone would get back to me.... 2 weeks later no return calls. I called again, they had me come into the office and explain to him exactly what had happened. I told him as the assistant was trying to remove the temporary crowns she was going side to side, front to back, and all of a sudden I heard a loud crack and crunch and was spitting up the teeth that she cracked and broke. I had three teeth total damaged, one broken off, one the porcelain was chipped off, and the last one chipped. Two of the teeth that had to be replaced we're paid for by the practice, but the third I had to pay $900 only because as he stated, it would have been impossible for that one to to be damaged and I must have chipped that myself. Unbelievable, the way she had those instruments in my mouth and was yanking back and forth and side to side did cause all the damage. I felt it was very unprofessional of him to walk in, look at the damage, toss the instruments down and walk out without saying a thing to me. About 3 months prior I did have a root canal done by him, it fell out the same day. I have a new dentist that is absolutely wonderful,l Dr Craig golden in Troy, now he's a perfectionist and Dr Simony could certainly learn a few things from him.This is a honest review.

Had my 6 month cleaning and check-up yesterday and again completely satisfied. Shannon did a very thorough job of cleaning. She and Dr. Macaroni were both very professional and easy to talk to. Very modern and clean office.

What a great experience. Dawn did a very thorough job of examining and cleaning my teeth. Both she and Dr. Simony were very friendly and knowledgeable. Love my new dentist.Very comfortable office. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend going to this practice.

I was extremely impressed with the the office and the staff. Every one was friendly and made every effort to make you feel comfortable. My hygienist was very professional and wonderful. She explained everything she was doing to make sure I was at ease and comfortable. Truly a great dental experience.

Fantastic experience with Dr. Maceroni today. I needed a tooth pulled and my Dentist referred me to an oral surgeon. Long story short, my friend recommended me here and I am very happy with the results. I'm sure the oral surgeon would have cost me much more money! Thanks Dr. Maceroni! Great job
