Dr. Jason Bowman was born and raised in the Knoxville area. He obtained his bachelors degree in bio-chemistry at Maryville College in 2008. He then attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry to achieve his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in June 2012.
Dr. Jason is a member of the Second District Dental Society, Tennessee Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Endodontic Society. He served as the President of the New Dentist committee to the Second District Dental Society from 2013 to 2016. He has served as a board member of the American Endodontic Society since 2016.
Susan has been with our office since 1977 and will be happy to assist with your insurance and financial questions. She has over 44 years of experience in the dental profession. She received her RDA & CDA in 1978-1979. Susan is crossed trained and works both the office and chair-side. She lives in Loudon and loves East Tennessee. She and her husband, Mike, enjoys traveling, camping and spending time with their family and friends.
Anita joined our team in February, 2008. She received her RDA in 1982 and is very knowledgeable in answering her patients questions about their dental needs. She is a native of Loudon County and resides here with husband Dale. They have two children and one grandson. When not working she enjoys spending time camping, visiting the beach and spending time with her family.
Miranda received her education and certification from the Tennessee Technology Center and has worked with our office since graduation in 2005. Educating patients in their dental health is an important part of her position with our dental team. She and husband Ben and daughter, Bella reside in Blount County. Miranda enjoys hiking in the Smoky Mountains, local art events, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Malinda received her education in the Memphis area and completed CDA certification in 1979. She has worked in the Knoxville area for 19 years in pediatric dentistry before joining us in July 2008. Malinda works very well with our younger patients and calming their anxiety about being at the Dentist. She and her husband Jeff, share 5 children and love camping and vacationing together.
Jennifer is the daughter of Dr. Bowman and joined our staff in late 2010. She is an dental assistant and enjoys working with patients to help with their dental needs. She has a love of UT sports, camping, the beach and social media. She resides in West Knoxville with her dogs and cat.
Kyla joined our practice in June 2011. She graduated from Roane State Dental Hygiene. Kyla enjoys working with ages and teaching them about dental hygiene. She and husband, Justin, with son, Jaxson and daughter, Sutton, reside in Madisonville. She loves family time, watching her son play sports, farming and being a MOMMY.
Amy joined our practice in July 2018. She began her career in dentistry in 2006 as a CDA. She then graduated from Roane State Dental Hygiene in 2009. She enjoys educating patients of all ages about improving and maintaining their oral health. Outside of work, Amy and husband Joe, reside in Lenoir City with children MaKinley and Jaxson. She loves shopping, playing pool and spending time with family and friends.

Ken and I have been coming here since we moved to TN 6 years ago and love Bowman Family Dentistry. Dr. Michael Bowman was a wonderful dentist, his son, Jason, is a compassionate dentist, Becky the receptionist, .the lady in billing, all the technicians, and dental hygienists are so good at their jobs and polite! We are so thankful we found them!
