I truly enjoy practicing orthodontics and love creating beautiful smiles. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work in a profession that is rewarding to both my patients and myself. Every time I see my patients, I am pleased to know that I am helping them achieve the ideal smile they have always wanted.
The best thing about being an orthodontist is building personal relationships with each patient. I get to meet such talented and gifted young adolescents, fascinating and remarkable adults, and wonderful families. At the end of treatment, it is amazing to see how a transformation in an individual's smile has such a positive change to that person's overall attitude and confidence.
I believe in staying on the cutting edge when it comes to advancements and techniques in orthodontics and to do so, I continue to teach as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine Division of Orthodontics. Not only does this help me continually learn about the great new developments in orthodontics, but it also allows me to give back to a profession that is so rewarding and exciting to practice. Through teaching, I am able to foster the professional development of our future orthodontists and stress the importance to continually strive for clinical excellence.
I am a New York native and currently reside there with my lovely wife, Uyen. During my free time, I enjoy being active outdoors. I can be found playing tennis and golf, snowboarding, running, biking, and training for triathlons. I also love cooking, eating out, and trying new foods. I have a tremendous appetite and love to eat. Some eat to live, I live to eat!

Excellent orthodontic care should still be affordable. Custom payment plans make orthodontic treatment available to everyone. We accept most forms of insurance and our friendly office staff will help you make the most of your coverage and answer any financial questions you may have.
Our office is brand new and outfitted with the finest equipment. Were not all work though! Our practice is a fun place to be, and we do everything we can to make sure patients enjoy each office visit. Our patients can watch TV, play Wii or just relax in our cool, colorful, modern office.

Dr. Duong is absolutely the best orthodontist I've ever encountered. I've been to several Ortho's before I went to Dr. Duong and he was by far the most honest and thorough in terms of the treatment plan and what to exactly expect. Both my son and I ultimately decided to get braces and it was the best decision. His office is immaculate, clean and modern, and the staff is super friendly. I'm so happy with my final result and Dr. Duong and his staff made me feel super comfortable and my son's final result for phase 1 braces was just great. I couldn't believe the final result, there was a huge difference from before and after. I highly recommend Dr. Duong (Precision orthodontics)!

I didn't go through full treatment, but the office was a huge help in navigating my course of treatment because I got Invisalign in the past. All the staff was super friendly, especially the dental radiologic technologist who took my X-rays.

Dr Duong and his staff are the best. Professional, courteous and always with a big smile. My oldest daughter just finished her treatment and the results were amazing. She is so much more confident because of her beautiful teeth and flawless smile. I can't thank Dr Duong and the team enough for the amazing work and their outstanding attention to detail. Dr. Duong and his entire office staff are professional, caring and knowledgeable. I interviewed other orthodontists before selecting him (hey, it's a big expense!) and I recommend him wholeheartedly. Skip looking around, and just go with him!

Dr. Duoug and his staff are marvelous! I started Invisalign therapy when I was 61. After 2 1/2 years (4 months delayed because of Covid) I'm done and I'm extremely pleased! At the outset, I asked a dentist client of mine to refer me to "The A Team" of Orthodontics and Dentistry in the Ridgewood area. He referred Dr. Duong without hesitation, and after an entire treatment cycle I DO TOO! Through the difficulty of the pandemic he and his staff were diligent and as accomodating as possible. Dr. Duong performs excellent orthodontic treatment to the highest clinical level, with efficient and modern technology, at reasonable fees, with a highly trained and friendly staff, in a state of the art practice. As a dental practice, we are critical of specialists we refer to, and these comments don't come off easily. The most important quality, though, is his moral integrity and that of his practice. There is no trickery, shenanigans, nor tomfoolery...instead only care at the highest level of honesty, integrity, and sound moral character.

Truly amazing, professional Orthadontist practice, a wonderful friendly environment, helpful staff from start to finish of treatment, all in a bright modern facility. My daughter has just finished her Invisalign treatment and her teeth (and more importantly her smile - as Dr Duong says) are perfect and she is thrilled. I am now starting with my other daughter. I would highly recommend Dr Duong at Precision Orthadontics.

Our son had a very complicated diagnosis where other Orthodontists had actually passed. Over a long, methodical and organized action plan on this challenging situation, Dr. Duong was remarkable. To add to that, his network of related physicians are all top notch which was great when we needed to have peripheral situations addressed. Add to that, the little things, like a beautiful spotless office and an outstanding staff of caring techs and administration, made the numerous visits that much easier. Considering our experience with our two other kids 'elsewhere', whenever asked, we would refer no orthodontist in our area.
