We left Petaluma in 2005 and live in WI now. Dr. Zatto was our dentist for many many years and did all of Doug's and my crown work. Today at my teeth cleaning, the dentist was checking my teeth and she said "those are beautiful crowns"....all these years later. Great work Dr. Zatto....hello from the Peacocks

I have been a Patient with Dr Zatto for 26 years now. So I feel that I can truly speak of him as a person and a professional. He has watched me grow up over the years and has always been very supportive, and personable. For me I always look forward to my appointments ,yes for the cleaning or what have you, but also to catch up and talk with him if he has time. Since I have grown up with his practice I have experienced what an expert cleaning/ inspection is. Dr Zatto dosnt over diagnose his patients to generate more income for him self. One time (roughly 4 years ago) i did venture and go to another practice in the Santa Rosa area and it was a terrible experience. After the cleaning I still had calcification on my teeth and the Dentist looked at my teeth for 30 seconds with no tools and told me I had 14 cavities that was going to cost me with "the family discount" 4k. After that I needed to get a second option and went to DR. Zatto. After DR. Zatto looked at my teeth he found 0 cavities , and to this day i sill have not needed fillings. Ive experienced fillings as a child, and tooth repair (composite) as a teen and adult with Dr Zatto. Years ago I had a sports injury which resulted in major damage to my front tooth, And he repaired it beautifully with composite. I wanted to do crown and be done with it but he took the time to explain to me if i ever want to straighten my teeth composite is the best first step (rather than crown). Occasionally the composite does chip and break but i am sill very active and accidents happen. He is always able to fit me in for repairs when they arise, this is also due to the wonderful staff he has. I also did Invisalign teeth straightening with DR. Zatto and I am more then happy with the results and the entire experience (where part of this was during COVID, and felt more then safe). While in the Invisalign process my composite tooth chipped 2 times and they got me in quick to fix my tooth. After the Invisalign treatment I wanted to get a crown put on that tooth (referring back to what I stated earlier DR. Zatto does not do procedures / diagnose to increase his income) he advised that given the composite is not broken at the moment, how permanent a crown is, how invasive, and the cost of the procedure to wait until it is absolutely is necessary. So in full do I recommend DR. Zatto "yes", and I will most likely go to him as long as he is practicing. He is a great guy, friend, mentor, and professional.

Dr. Zatto is great, One of the most important and supportive things I remember is that he explains everything. Not only for me, but to my kids in plain language, with enough detail that we get it! That is why he has been my dentist for most of my adult life! Thanks Dr. Zatto
