Dr. Michael Bixby graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in biology and earned his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Bringing his passion for technology and quality dentistry, he joined his father in practice in 1998.
Never complacent in his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Bixby sought post-doctorate training in advanced dentistry. To date he has attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the world-renowned educational center for aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry. He has also completed courses at the Creating Restorative Excellence Center for Advanced Dental Learning and is certified in laser dentistry.
Through his vast educational experience, Dr. Bixby has realized that cosmetic dentistry is more than designing an attractive smile; its comprehensive dentistry. The advanced cosmetic dentistry he practices takes into consideration the teeth, bones, gums and bite in relation to the rest of the body. This approach allows Dr. Bixby to resolve patients dental needs in an attractive and enduring manner.
Dr. Bixby is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Bixby is one of a few certified dentists, World-wide, for the PX3 Custom Mouthwear.

Worst dental experience. My daughter was given to much gas and he left her along in the room. Her eyes started rolling I had to scream for help. She was hospitalized twice from this situation and he never reached out to see how she was. He just didn't care.

Dr Bixby gets 5 gold stars for his gentle demeanor and painless treatment. And the hygienist Jennifer is amazing. With Covid, I got behind in my dental health. I was concerned I had a Covid Cavity. Thank goodness my teeth were in good shape! No decay. A sparkling smile for the holidays. My teeth feel great!

Thank God for Dr Bixby and his office staff! I cracked a tooth dislodging a piece of it. Dr Bixby's office was kind enough to come in early to accommodate me and replaced the filling and repaired the tooth (#30)- all in an hour. I comfortably watched the food network with noise canceling headphones while he worked. While the dental dilemma was unexpected, it certainly was not unnerving and my smile is ready for the holidays! Thank you, Dr Bixby!

Dr. Bixby is amazing! I came to him to restore my implant, he was so kind as to explain each step of the process to me and answered any questions I had and really took his time during my visits. HE is so gentle- HE GIVES THE BEST LOCAL ANESTHESIA OF MY LIFE!!! I barely felt the pinch of the needle! And best of all-my crowns look amazing, you can't even tell which tooth is an implant! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bixby- he and his assistants are awesome and I can't recommend them enough!
