Dr. Baron has been my Periodontist for over 20 years. He is kind, caring and technically excellent. My gums are in great shape due to his superb services. I would recommend him highly.

For me to give anyone in the dental world 5 stars, they must be good. Dr. Baron and I are on a journey, one that will most likely keep us connected for many years. He has been thorough, informative, and very aware of my comfort. I suffer from extensive gum disease and he's been responsible for bringing my gums back to a healthier level so I might be able to receive some kind of replacement to improve my smile and comfort. His office staff are very friendly and keeps to a timely appointment schedule. And my advise to anyone out there that hasn't been to their dentist in forever...STOP THAT...or you'll be right where I am with loss of teeth, bone and confidence. And if you need surgical care, I highly recommend Dr. Baron.

Went to Dr. Baron to get a tooth extracted and an implant following that. Extraction was fine. However, the implant did not go well at all. Was having considerable pain for two weeks, was asked to come in, and examined and told that it looked 'clinically fine'. Went home and the pain got progressively worse. Had to even go to the hospital emergency room at midnight because my blood pressure was measuring 190/120. Called Dr. Baron at his emergency contact number the next morning, but he didn't call me back until 5 hours later. In the meantime, I had called up my primary physician because I couldn't wait that long. Was able to see Dr. Baron on his next available day at the office, where he determined that the area was infected and he removed the implant. I was told to come back in 3 months at which time he would try again. Mainly because of the extreme pain I had to endure, I don't want to take a chance of doing this implant the second time. I canceled my appointment, and asked for a reimbursement for the implant, but he will not give me one. He says that I had signed an agreement which states something to the effect that the implant was done, and he can keep the money. I understand that patients will sign that type of agreement to protect the doctor from lawsuits, etc. But I wasn't expecting such a painful infection to cause me to not want another one done at the same site. I would like to add that he had later reimbursed me for the implant charges.
