One of the biggest challenges any business owner has is finding the right employees that will represent the office in a professional and polite manner. I believe the staff I have right now are some of the finest I ever have been blessed to work with.
Diana is a gem. She knows all of the ins and outs of your insurance and will go to bat for you to make sure you get the care you want and deserve. If you do not have insurance, she can work with you to create a plan that helps you fit the treatment you want into your budget. When not in the office she loves spending time with her family. Her two kids are her biggest joy.
Chloe is our other rockstar at the front desk. She graduated in 2012 from the University of Arizona. She is always willing to help and the first smile you will be greeted with as you enter our office. Chloe is a proud military wife and doggie mama to two sweet little ones. Aside from dentistry, her biggest passion is traveling. She lived overseas for two years in Germany and has traveled all over since then. She loves to explore the world, workout, camp, float and spend time with family and friends.
Gina has stepped back from hygiene to help support our office in many other important ways. You will see her helping at the front desk but the most integral things she is doing are behind the scenes. She specializes in designing our crowns so that you receive quality restorations that look, feel and function just like a beautiful natural tooth. She performs our scans in and out of the mouth. This is the first step to creating your restorative work and also your Smile Aligners, our new in office Clear Aligner technology.
GI first met Amanda 9+ years ago at a charity event our office held where we gave away dentistry for one day to people in need. We were told that at least 200 people will show up. We needed more assistants that day and the people at Missouri College lent us about 4 dental assistants. Amanda was one of them. She spent the entire 10 hour day cleaning rooms, helping in any way possible, without any hesitation. Amanda also had an infectious smile that really made her stand out. I told my head dental assistant that day we are going to hire Amanda the day she is finished with dental assisting school. We did and she has been one of my best dental assistants ever. Amanda went on to continue her education in hygiene and has now been a great hygienist here in the office for nearly 2 years. She has that gift with her hands.
Kelsey is a native of St. Louis County. She initially met Dr. White, 7 years ago, when she began babysitting his two youngest children. Since then, she says shes had the privilege of getting to know Dr. Whites kind-heartedness, both with his family and in his practice. Im grateful for Dr. White and his wife, Ginas generosity and guidance through the years and look forward to continuing this relationship for the years to come. Whether it be in my career or personal endeavors, I strive to motivate others to make healthy changes with positive reinforcement. I hope to form a lasting rapport with my patients and build trust, so that I can help to create a healthy oral and systemic environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brett and step-daughter, Adriana.
Our newest addition to hygiene, Sarah is a hygiene assistant helping the hygienists to allow your visit to flow more smoothly and timely. Sarah is very excited about her new journey in the dental field. She is a Missouri native. Shes very outgoing and friendly and wants to make sure you have the best possible visit.
Gail has been a hygienist with our office for over 30 years. I once told Gail that if she ever left my office, all the patients would follow. She is the most professional and caring care giver one could ever hope for. She announced her retirement and officially retired on February 2015. I begged her to reconsider when I knew I was going to open the new office. I guess one can only play so much golf so she agreed to come back on a part time basis.
What is it with Missouri College, but they really have assistants who have great smiles. Kiersten is the person that loves everybody. She remembers peoples names and their families and knows what events are happening in our patients life. A patient will walk into the room and Kiersten will be asking them if their new drapes turned out nice in their new home. One thing I love about Kiersten is that when a patient is getting a shot, she rubs their arm gently up and down with a very soft touch. This really helps the patient relax and feel safe. I never had a dental assistant before do that. Outside of the office, she enjoys time with her husband and two beautiful children.
Danielle, another graduate of Missouri College, truly has a passion for dentistry and enjoys what she does each and everyday. People have described her as calming and she loves to educate patients and make sure they understand their treatment and their options. She loves continuing her education and learning as much as she possibly can so that you can feel confident in her knowledge of dentistry. Her other greatest passion in life is her family. She has been married 14 years and is a very proud mother to four wonderful kids, 3 boys and 1 girl.
Melony is a fun loving dental assistant with well over 10 years in the field. She spent 9 of those in an orthodontic office and has been in general for over 3+ years now. She is very well rounded and knowledgeable. Her brain doesnt stop at dentistry; If you need music trivia she is your girl! Old and new she is like an encyclopedia. In her free time she is enjoying planning her wedding, as she was recently engaged. She is also an animal lover, with two cats and one dog currently.
As you enter our building you will notice a refreshment bar on your right. We keep this stocked with water and fruit drinks for your convenience. We also keep nutritious snacks in this area. We know you are rushed on a daily basis and we want to ensure you and your family have access to healthy food and drink while we serve you. You will notice a unique brick around our front desk. Dr. White himself picked this out and installed it. He enjoyed putting this office together and took an active role in the overall design and construction of the Office Sunset Hills Dentist.
There is a very unique table just under the television. This has special meaning to Dr. White, it belonged to his father and was in his dental office for many years. Its design and character are timeless. The table is a reminder of the importance of family. Dr. White shares this with your family as you visit because he truly cares about your health.
