I found a small piece of gauze in the tooth that the root canal was performed on. It was practically embedded in my gum. I felt itching and after looking closely in the mirror I had to pull the gauze out with tweezers. It was bad. I ended up having to get the tooth pulled when I went to another specialist for a consultation to redo the root canal. Getting an implant is not cheap and not enjoyable. Dr. Landau seems like a very nice man, however I'm dissatisfied. Also, please buy a new computer, your poor assistants don't need to be working on windows 98.

Dr. Landau might be a very nice man, but my fiance has gone back to have the same tooth root canal at least 3 times. I finally insisted he go to consult with another dentist, after they want to root canal a forth time saying "we MUST save this tooth". The other dentist said that doing another root canal on THAT tooth is like trying to do CPR on a skeleton. There is nothing to save. The other dentist, whom I have known 15 years, never says anything bad about other dentists, so he left it at that.. But my fiance has been in a lot of pain going to these visits and afterwards. His regular dentist finally acknowledged that the tooth was "broken" but she is advising "one more root canal" and yet another crown (this is the third in less than 3 years). This dentist has many, many good reviews. Just be careful. The average person does not leave a review. Where did all of these reviews come from? If they are real reviews, good. But just be careful.

Scheduled a consultation with him, and because he only provided advice and options and patiently talked with me (no procedure), at checkout I was told no charge. How often does THAT happen? Would recommend him on that alone.

You don't say very much that you've had the pleasure of meeting an Endodontist. But Dr. Landau is not only extremely intelligent, he is compassionate and extremely adept in his craft. His root canals are seamless. His special machine he uses to slowly administer the Novocaine is absolutely fabulous. Highly highly recommend this doctor. Don't go anywhere else!

I was incredibly nervous to get my first root canal but Dr.Landau made it extremely easy ! The staff and Dr.Landau are extremely friendly and very reassuring, i would recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care absolutely amazing.

Could not have asked for better care for an emergency. Root canal was needed and done with great expertise and care. I appreciated the staffs compassion as well.

Dr. Landau makes me feel relaxed, confident and trusting when I tend to bring my normal dental anxiety into appointments with a dentist. He is a professional, gentle, caring expert in his field.

I've had quite a few endodontic procedures over the years. The last 3 I had with Dr Landau, and he is the best dentist around hands down. Very experienced, skillful, comforting; does a superb job, and - uses a device that releases painkiller gradually, thus making the procedure completely pain-free! Unlike another endodontist, Dr S., who will otherwise remain nameless, who sticks you with the needle with enormous, ruthless jab.. Btw, that same dr also charges FIFTY (50) percent more for the same exactly tooth, without insurance, than Dr Landau; for no reason other than greed... Dr Landau is also calm, pleasant, and works just fast enough to do an excellent job. As another patient there commented to me, it felt like a 'drive-thru procedure', which obviously is a very high compliment!..:)

Procedure was pain free. Doctor was friendly, kind, gentle and reassuringly explained the various steps during the procedure. Friendly staff. Nice accommodations.

I had 3 root canals with Dr. Landau about 10 years ago. The visits were painless and surprisingly quick. As of 5 days ago, one more of my teeth needed a root canal. I was referred to 2 other doctors in the area, they were much higher priced and came with great reviews. I decided to go against my dentists recommendation and I went back to Dr. Landau. He is a very pleasant man, staff is very nice too. The experience is wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone looking to have a root canal done.

I had to go back three visits for one tooth. Still dont know what the issue was but the doctor may not have gotten all the nerve in the tooth. Besides the repeat visits a pretty good experience.

Excellent doctor. I suffer from extreme anxiety when it comes to dental procedures. Dr. Landau comforted me and explained things in full to me during the procedure. The numbing was spot on and there was no additional need for re application. The upfront cost is a little prohibitive for many, but most insurers will reimburse a good portion of the root canal procedure. The difference between reimbursement and total cost paid to the practice is well worth it in my opinion. I will recommend Dr. Landau to any and all who need similar work done. Thank you!
