Michael A.Kubiniec, D.D.S.,Dr. Mike, graduated from Batavia High School in 1979, and Hobart College in 1983 with a B.S. in Biology. In 1987 he graduated with Thesis Honors from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He joined his father, Conrad, who had run a busy dental practice since 1963. They soon expanded the facility at 180 Washington Avenue to include six treatment rooms and a huge fish tank.
Every year Doctors Conrad and Michael attended the Greater Niagara Frontier Dental Convention to catch up on the latest techniques and materials. My dad always attended many classes each year. He taught me that you have to keep up with the latest dental technologies and health issues. It is how we provide quality dentistry without getting burned out.
In 1991, Dr. Mike joined the Western New York implant study club, and then in 2012, he started attending the monthly Brodine Prosthodontic Seminars Study Club in nearby Rochester, NY.He started the advanced dental training program at The Dawson Academy in 1995, where he learned how to design long-lasting dental restorations to precisely fit the patients bite and protect jaw joints.In 2013, Dr. Mike finished the Garg Dental Implant Continuum. Over the years, Dr. Mike has attended concentrated classes on topics such as temporomandibular joints, modern gum disease treatment, root canals, dentures that fit, advanced CEREC training, Galileos x-ray training, and many one-day courses.
Since 2001, Dr. Mike has upgraded the office with computers, all-digital x-rays, CEREC one-visit crowns, and the Galileos 3D imaging system.Our new high technology systems allow Dr. Mike to place and restore implants right in our office, without having to go to an outside specialist or dental laboratory.
Dr. Mike lives in Batavia with his wife Sharon, who manages the office.Sharon is a member of the American Association of Dental Practice Managers.They have a son at Canisius studying pre-dental topics, a son at RIT studying computer programming, and their oldest is a Navy Reactors Officer in Washington,D.C..When they are not at the office, you can find Dr. Mike and Sharon volunteering with the Rotary Club of Batavia, grilling steaks in the backyard, boating, or enjoying live theater productions here and in New York.
We take your peace of mind to heart and make ourselves available for dental emergencies. You can't get better than the care you get from Dr. Kubiniec and his staff! They provide the best care and go above and beyond to serve their patient's. As a mother it makes my heart so happy to watch the joy my 6 year old daughter has in visiting Dr. Mike every time!

Honestly, if I were rating the staff based upon their friendliness and the way the client is treated as if you are a part of their family, it's way above 5 stars! I have never been to a dentist office where the atmosphere is so upbeat and joyful! That's what brought me back. I joined the practice initially based on a promotion that they were offering which included "lifetime whitening.." amongst a couple other things that were performed on my first visit...but I received the whitening trays at my first visit, and then I seem to get an excuse each time I have asked to get a set again...even a boost. Poor business practices and false advertising as far as I am concerned and it makes me not want to return... I have not had a cleaning now for about 2 years, the pandemic isn't helping, but I was faithful about getting my teeth cleaned at least every6 months if not more..and this situation has left me turned away...

Dr. Kubiniec, his wife Sharon, and the rest of the staff are so incredible I really don't have words. I can't remember exactly how many years ago.... but, I had a terrible tooth. Of course it didn't get unbearable until the late night early morning hours on a Friday. No dentist I can go to on the weekend, absolutely nothing to do but get an antibiotic from the ER ( which takes at least 3 days to work ). It was to the point that if I didn't get it out right then, I would have bashed it out myself. 1:00 or so in the morning, I called the office ( obviously got the answering machine) in tears, explained my situation and not even 20 minutes later my phone rang !! They came out of their house, that late, to bring me in that office and personally extract my tooth !! You simply don't find people like this anymore. I can never be grateful enough. I express my thanks every opportunity I have, and will continue to do so and refer everyone !! Thank you all so much for being genuine people, and truly love what you do . P.S. I pray none of you run into this situation, but if it ever happens and you have to follow the same steps.... if it's 1:00 on the morning.... don't mention my post until normal business hours . I'm certain it's not something they want to happen to often at that time lol.

The passive aggressive and condescending behavior of the office manager is appalling. It was every time I delt with her not just a one time thing. To bad because the Dentist and his assistant are very nice. How are you going to get angry with me because my insurance was out of network and I didnt want to be charged extra to continue to go to her Husband's practice. My children's insurance coverd their services but would not let me schedule my son's next cleaning....just rude.

I normally don't review places, let alone leave a negative review. But for starters.. Dr. Kubinec and his assistants are great, very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. Sharon on the other hand was the complete opposite, couple of times I spoke with her I kind of just shrugged it off as if maybe she was having a bad day. But every interaction with her I had, she was passive aggressive and rude. I missed an appointment by mistake, I'll take complete fault for that, but Sharon was sure to make sure I knew how upset she was. CHEER UP SHARON! Learn some people skills from your husband and dental assistants.

Our family has benefited from the excellent dental care from Dr. Mike and his entire staff for many years. He always explains procedures and gives me options if there are any. The hygienists do great cleanings. Any time we have a dental issue we get an expedited appointment. Each member of the team is a credit to the practice.

Dentist was very fun and friendly very quick, I was in a lot of pain and they got me right in within an hour of calling during the pandemic AND being a new patient. I used to hate and refuse going to the dentist I love these guys! Assistant was amazing as well as the front desk clerk!! So happy with my new dentist

Begging was great but have been there many times to have dentures fixed that they had made still hurt and can't use to eat with they don't stay in place and sore spots was told to wait a couple weeks or so feel like being put off after final payment.
