Dr. Keller completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee. There, he attained a B.S. degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. He received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and completed his residency at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. Dr. Keller began his career as a clinical instructor at the University of Tennessee Undergraduate Pediatric Dentistry Technique Lab. From 1998 to the present, he holds a position as clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and also the Childrens Hospital of Alabama. Dr. Keller is a member of several dental organizations including The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and Birmingham District Dental Society. He is active with the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. Dr. Keller is a member and actively involved at Canterbury United Methodist Church where he serves on the Bobby Roebuck Health Care Board. He is also a former board member for Camp Smile A Mile (SAM). Dr. Keller enjoys working and playing with the children and making a difference in their lives. Dr. Keller has a wife Mindi, and 3 children (Caroline, Molly, and Mason). Dr. Keller spends his free time attending his childrens activities and playing with their 3 dogs.
Lori has enjoyed her time in the field of pediatric dentistry for over 20 years! Lori received her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Darton College in Albany, Georgia. Lori and her husband, William, have 5 children. Their family enjoys outdoor activities, playing with their three dogs, the lake, and Atlanta Braves baseball!
Jessica received her Associates degree in Dental Assisting at Wallace State Community College in 2012. Jessica received her Dental Hygiene License in 2015. Jessica spent her summer of 2012 with our office doing her externship for dental assisting. She is a valuable team member and is great with our patients. Jessica loves spending time with family and friends, she has two miniature schnauzers, and loves watching documentaries.
Prior to the dental field, Jordan taught as a pre-school teacher. She has been a part of our team since 2016. She received her Dental Hygiene License in 2020. Jordan loves all of her patients, and strives to make children and their parents feel comfortable and at ease when undergoing treatment. Jordan enjoys baking, being outdoors and enjoying time with and walking her dog 'Gatsby'.
Alicia received her Associates degree in psychology from Jefferson State Community College in 2013, and her Associates in Dental Hygiene from Fortis Institute in 2016. She is a fun member of our team with her outgoing personality. You will often catch her singing to her patients. Alicia loves spending time with her husband Brad and their son Braxton. She is an avid Alabama football fan and a lover of music and movies.
Taylor studied and trained as a dental assistant prior to joining our team in 2020. She loves working with children and making them feel relaxed in the dental chair. Taylor enjoys spending time with her daughter. Taylor and her daughter love to go shopping and watch Netflix together.
Lindsey received her degree in Business Administration from Bevill State Community College, and received her certification in dental assisting from Jefferson State community college in 2013. Lindsey has been in the dental field for the past 6 years and loving every minute of it! Lindsey enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and German Shepherd Maverick.
Savannah began in the dental field as a dental assist in 2016. She has been practicing both assisting and office administration since 2016. She and her husband, Adam, love spending time with their two furry boys, Gus and Kylo. Savannah enjoys gardening, cooking, and baking and spending time with her family.

Dr. Mike is the world's best dentist for children. I live about hour away and I make that trip to get my kids taken care of 2 times a year because he is the sweetest and best dentist. If your kids are scared of dentist take your kids to Dr. Mike he will make them feel better . And his staff is wonderful too .

My children have been coming to Dr. Keller since they were 18 months and now they are 12 and 15. I absolutely love how he takes great care of their teeth while forming a friendly relationship with them at the same time. My 12 year son has autism and at every visit he and I both would leave in tears. Meanwhile, Dr. Mike and the staff would be exhausted after wrestling with him. I considered looking for another dentist for my son but Dr. Mike and the hygienists encouraged me not to. They could have easily let us leave but we all hung in there together. Well, up to about 8 months ago, my son has been attending his appointments with no problems, allowing X-rays (his very first set), laughing with Dr. Mike, and more. It is such a joy to see. Thank you, Dr. Mike!

My son's Timothy and Joshua have had the honor of being with The Keller dentistry family for 19 years. Dr. Keller and his staff are amazing. They never skip a beat on the friendliness and making kids feel comfortable. My oldest son started at the dentistry at 2 years old of course followed by my youngest Now 21 and 19. We are truly going to miss Dr Keller and the family as my boys move on into adult . I will gladly recommend Dr Keller to anyone and everyone. An amazing pediatric dentistry.

He engages the kids, is patient with them and his years of experience gets the procedure done fast and efficiently. My son still calls him the "funny" dentist and this momma is truly grateful he worked with us when we said we preferred not to have our three y.o undergo general anesthesia. Ive been to four "pediatric" dentists and Will take my kids to see Dr. Keller even if I have to drive an hour.

Best Pediatric Dentist in town!! I have been bringing my grandson here for years and he loves Dr. Keller. If a procedure needs to be done, Dr. Keller is so clever that's it's over before the child even knows he has begun! I would say he is a magician, but I will just say he is excellent at amusing the children to laughing to the point that they don't know he did anything!

this was probably 18 years ago but for some reason Dr. Keller decided to remove both of my permanent lateral incisors because my mouth was "too small" for braces??? My step-father, a former assistant dean at the UAB dentistry school had never heard of this practice. Now my teeth line does not look normal at all... Do not take your children there or they may be a victim of crooked dentistry as well!!!

Dr. Michael Keller and his staff are, hands down, the best pediatric dental practice in all of Birmingham. We LOVE them so much. They are fast, friendly and caring. One of the hygienists even cleaned my child's teeth while he sat in her lap. They are AMAZING!! Dr. Keller himself is hilarious and personable. He loves playing and horsing around with the kids. We love you Dr. Keller!!

We love Dr. Keller! I never, ever mind going to his office like I do some other pediatric facilities. In fact, it's almost fun! The staff are professional and the patient portal is efficient and convenient. I've never waited more than 3-5 minutes to see Dr. Keller. He is honest in his assessment and always takes time when speaking with my son and me. My only complaint is that my son doesn't get to play with all the awesome toys and games in the waiting room long enough before he goes back because they're always running on time!

Dr. Keller and his staff are wonderful! The office staff is always friendly, cheerful, and helpful, and after years of dealing with office staff at medical practices that are very unfriendly, this is a welcoming breath of fresh air. Dr. Keller has a laid back personality that puts my child at ease, and he actually looks forward to his checkups. The waiting area is roomy with plenty of room to spread out, and there are two play sections for kids: a room with toys for younger kids, and a video game room for older kids.

Dr. Keller's office offers the best Pediatric Dentistry services around, HANDS DOWN! Dr. Keller and staff uphold the most professional practices while providing superb customer service. The office is very kid-friendly creating an environment that is comfortable and fun. My 3-yr old handled himself exceptionally well at his visit, which is a result of the environment. His comfort makes us as parents very pleased! I highly recommend this practice to anyone who asks! As always, thank you Dr. Keller and staff :)
