The Winnetka Dental Group, under the direction of Dr. Michael A. Czarkowski, is dedicated to providing excellent, innovative and comprehensive treatment in a caring patient environment. Dr. Czarkowski received his dental degree from the University of Illinois, as well as advanced specialty certification in Prosthodontics. He has been providing his patients with the finest in general, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry since 1979.
Dr. Czarkowski is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Equilibration Society, and the PDL Study Club. He is also a member and has served as president of the Chicago Academy of Dental Research. He is an adjunct assistant professor of Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Czarkowski believes that education and continuous training are ongoing. He attends meetings worldwide to stay abreast of changes in dentistry. His reputation has made him a popular guest lecturer in continuing education at national dental conferences and conventions.
He was the Team Dentist of the Chicago Sting 1980-1983 and Dentist for the Chicago Bulls 1985-1991. He currently is involved with the Department of Defense in pre-deployment dental screening and dental treatment of service members from all branches of the military.

The entire experience of being a patient of Winnetka Dental Group is outstanding!! First, all the precautionary hygiene measures are in place. The offices are bright, modern, super clean and the air quality is exceptional. Breathing is easy, even when masked. They have machinery filtering the air constantly and it is noticeable. Next, the view from the chair, as a patient, is to the outdoors. As the offices are located next to a park, their large windows afford the opportunity to see sky and trees, (very relaxing for a nature lover). And yes, there is a large screen TV to view, if that is your preference. Here's what else I appreciate. It is quiet! There is no constant beat of background music to distract or to inhibit communication or to create stress. Instead, what you hear are people. That is, the members of the team communicating with their patients and with each other....or, you experience blissful, calming silence. (What a treat in the loud world we live in ) On top of that, my overall dental care is superior to what I have previously experienced at other dental practices. And suggestions were made for my at home care that have improved my results. Now, I've come to the most important reason for my five star review - the team, the people. Not only do they work together skillfully and smoothly, focused on the patient, but I felt caring and kindness from each of them.They make it a great place to be. Dr. Czarkowski, as the leader of the team, sets the tone. He has all the talent and skills and even more, the years of experience that really make a difference. He focuses on his patient. He senses their concerns. He seemed to know what was on my mind before I even spoke or asked a question. That was amazing. I am so pleased with everything about being a patient of this practice that I took time to write this review, (something I have never done before.)

I was recently referred to Dr. Czarkowski for the replacement of some very old veneers on my two front teeth. Because of the varied gray discoloration on my teeth due to tetracycline staining, finding the proper shade for my new veneers was quite a challenge. He did an amazing job! My smile is better and brighter than ever. The two front teeth look very natural and blend perfectly with my other teeth. Dr. Czarkowski is the master at his craft and I very much appreciate his talent. He is a smile artist! Another important note: I live in Indiana and the drive is over an hour. I'm delighted that I decided to go the distance. A huge thank you to Dr. C. and his friendly and caring staff.

Always a great experience. Mike is an extremely talented dentist and a great person. His staff and facility are also first rate. He has been my dentist for years and I will not let anybody else work on my teeth.

I was directed to this office by my world-class periodontist at a time when I actually was quite content with my regular dentist. But I followed his advice. I still value that advice and the care & treatment I receive at Dr. Czarkowski's office where I have been a patient now for a number of years. Having unmitigated confidence matters immensely when one has as much dental activity and previous action as I have.

Dr. Czarkowski has been an amazing and attentive Prosthodontist! Over the past 2 years, since I started coming to see Dr. Czarkowski, he has treated me with the utmost respect! He is kind, he has a wonderful sense of humor and he has a very calm demeanor, all of which continuously make me feel comfortable during each appointment. He does his work meticulously to ensure everything is done correctly the first time. He goes above and beyond to ensure that each visit is as positive an experience as possible.
