Michael A. Christian, DMD : Dr. Christian was born in Houston Texas, lived there for 9 years and was raised in Ashland, Kentucky. He attended the University of Kentucky and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1976 and a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1980. Upon graduation he returned to his home town to practice dentistry and has been practicing in the same location for over 31 years. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the Eastern Dental Society. He has held leadership positions in both the KDA and EDS and is currently a delegate to the KDA and a member of the Executive Board of the KDA. He is a firm believer in furthering his education, skills, improving the quality of his care and advancement in the technologies of dentistry. He attends 30-60 hours of continuing education each year to address those values and still enjoys all aspects of the practice of dentistry.
Dr. Mike has always been and is active in his local community, holding leadership positions in many organizations. Among the many commitments he is currently on the board of the First United Methodist Church. One of his passions is the University of Kentucky. He serves on the board of the local UK Alumni Club and the National UK Alumni Association, which he is now serving on its Executive Board.
Dr. Mike is an avid and loyal fan of the UK Wildcats and attends many of their games. Other leisure activities he enjoys are golf, fishing, camping and snow skiing. He is married to his wife of 29 years, Janice, and they have one daughter, Ali.
Laura has enjoyed her dental hygiene career for many years, having experiences in several offices. She and her husband are parents to 3 children, five grandchildren and foster children since being empty nested. She is actively involved in her church and community activities.

The best dentist I have ever seen not only Dr Christian but also the office staff the friendliest and the most efficient I have ever seen. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. He has performed dental prcedures for me that other dentists told me couldn't be done. He is the very best.

We always have an excellent patient experience at Dr. Christian's office. The dental hygienist does a superb job, and truly takes such good care of her patients. The office administrator has always been readily available to answer any questions about billing and appointments, I appreciate how much she cares and is so friendly. All of the office staff are extremely friendly and professional. My family and I are always impressed with the thorough examinations by Dr. Christian and how they always take the time to give each patient expert advice and encouragement. I highly recommend Dr. Christian and his wonderful staff for your dental care needs.

I have always had major dentist anxiety! Since I started going to Dr. Christian I could literally fall asleep in the chair, mid root canal. He lives up to his "Gentle Dental" name. His staff are beyond welcoming and friendly. I'll NEVER go anywhere else.

Dr Christians's office does a wonderful job. The staff is nice and will treat you like family. My family has been seeing Dr Christian for a long time now. He has performed many procedures on me and from a medical standpoint, as a nurse, they have been flawless, painless, and he explains every step of the process. These people will never leave you with pain or without any help that you would need. Please consider this office if you would like the best of care.

I absolutely love him! I'm very uncomfortable with dentists but Dr. Christian and staff are very patient and help with nervousness. They tell you every procedure and make sure you know what's going to happen. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Christian is by far the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. Dr. Christian and the staff do their best to make sure you're comfortable & calm no matter how nervous you are & even if you're not. I'll recommend his office to anyone who asks & continue going here as long as he's open for practice

The most efficient and friendly staff I have ever encountered in a professional office. And the most caring knowagable dentist I have ever encountered. He corrected a lot of damage another dental office had done. Will never see another dentist. Recommend Dr. Christian to anyone.
