She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy where she was both a scholar-athlete and valedictorian of her class. After Lourdes, Dr. Garcia-Paul was accepted into the honors program at the University of Miami.
While an undergraduate, Dr. Garcia-Paul began working for several local dentists and dental specialists in Miami. It was during this time that she first became interested in the specialty of orthodontics.
After graduating from UM with honors, Dr. Garcia-Paul left her Miami home. Her graduate training first brought her to Philadelphia where she attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and earned her doctorate in dental medicine.
Staying current on state-of-the-art treatment methods is incredibly important to Dr. Garcia-Paul so she can provide you with the highest level of care. She attends continuing education courses and events throughout the year so she is current on the latest techniques available.
Throughout her educational journey, Dr. Garcia-Paul always found a way to give back to the community. She has volunteered with programs that offer free oral health screenings and dental services for children who could not afford treatment.
Since moving back to Miami, she has been a volunteer on staff at Nicklaus Childrens Hospital Craniofacial Team and she is a volunteer instructor in the dental assisting program at the Robert Morgan Technical Institute.
In addition to her passion for creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Garcia-Paul also enjoys eating donuts, salsa dancing, watching super hero movies, and exploring new places with her husband, Alex (whenever she can get a babysitter).

Words cannot explain the great service that I've gotten here. We've been coming since 2019, and let me just say my teeth were messed up. I came in after having a spacer on that was put on by a horrible dentist and we had been going through all the dentists and orthodontists in Miami, until we found this one. When I first came I had to put on expanders and I had a horrible gag reflex so you can imagine how hard it must of been to put them on. But the doctor and the staff were always so patient. Then after about a year of having my expander, I was finally ready for braces, which was also really hard for me because of the gag-reflex. But here we are after a very long journey today I finally took my braces off after almost 4 years. And i cannot be more thankful for everything that Dr. Carmen and her staff has done for me. Definitely recommend to come because this is the best orthodontist in Miami.

Love this place! Dr. Carmen Garcia-Paul is such a sweet and compassionate orthodontist. She is wonderful with my son and you can tell she treats her staff well because they are all happy to work there. The girls at the front desk always have a smile and a warm welcome and they answer the phone when you call!! Her technicians are all wonderful as well. I definitely recommend this office to everyone! You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Garcia-Paul is nothing short of a miracle worker. My daughter needed to widen her palate, rotate two molars 90*, and pull two teeth from behind other teeth. Dr. Garcia-Paul and her staff made it look effortless. Two years later my daughter has the most beautiful smile and a boost of confidence. Dr. Garcia-Paul and her staff were always curious and kind. I came here for the 2 years that I had my braces and loved every appointment. The staff was amazing and were extremely kind. They always put the patients need first. I would definitely recommend coming here for orthodontic treatment.
