Call them & see how much of a show over how difficult to schedule an appointment they make! When you arrive, there isn't anyone waiting. It's that receptionist/office manager that ascends through the professional world but controlling the patients - & the doctor "seeing" it, and validating it because "good help is so hard to find." They had a GROUPON for a cleaning. When I went in, I was informed that I had to - not just OPEN it for viewing it - but actually REDEEM it before being seen. Here is the thing: There is specific verbiage that advises that not everyone is a candidate. Having this as a concern, I was informed that they needed to take x-rays to find out what kind of cleaning I needed. Life experience tells you when you are getting a "safe" answer, that is non-committal and deflects responsibility as much as accountability. Their response was that I would still be taking the x-rays. My concern is over plaque buildup on may lower teeth, that another dentist used as a frivolous excuse to not complete the cleaning. If it truly is this that makes the individual ineligible for the basic cleaning, all it takes is to use the little mirror (you don't even have to lay down on the bed for this). The woman snapped back and was rude and NASTY. The response was that these were their policies and that I could always go to another clinic. In order to TRULY understand what this is like, you have to think of the traditional dentist office, with soft must of "80's, 90's, and today." Well cowpoke....this isn't it. The music is a little ghetto. Is it for the cool, laid back environment? After what I went through, I doubt it. It is most likely because that is how the office manager likes it. It empowers her be that woman that wants to "eat the world" and spit you out - and conveys that she picks the music, and not the dentist. It doesn't matter if that is his practice - it's her dominion. When I asked to speak to the dentist....he sent a message with her that ultimately was there to validate her. NO ONE gets in Claudia's path to world domination!!! She is there to be tolerated in the workplace - and YOU are just the person to do it. The reason they get the three stars is because the hygienist did a good job. The dentist did offer a discount on additional services that were needed. So in a nutshell, its good treatment but absolutely horrible customer service. Good dentist - but needs to address facets of the business side.

I don't normally write reviews about people or organisations that I interact with, but this time I feel compelled to say something good about Miami Lakes Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Peralta and his staff provided me with a wonderful service at a reasonable price (good work for a fair price). Dr Peralta and his staff are highly skilled and extremally professional. They didn't cut corners or use substandard material. I highly recommend them to any who is thinking about visiting a dentist. As for myself I couldn't have chosen better and I am fully satisfied. Dr. VanBuskirk takes the drama out of dentistry. I have super sensitive teeth! He uses this new dental rinse that absolutely takes the pain out of a maintenance cleaning. I don't mean the periodontal ones, I get those, too! Since 2020, this practice has been under the direction of Dr. Johnny Peralta, a great dentist! He is a super fun dentist with an ability to listen to his patients. His hygienist also uses a numbing gel on my sensitive gums before even a regular cleaning. My husband and I love this dentist!

Dr Peralta and staff passed with flying colors. Speak to Claudia at the front desk she brings years of experience to this practice. She has the patience to answer all your questions and put you at ease. The Dental assistants are beyond kind, very knowledgeable, explaining all as they proceed. It's a dental team working in unison, focused to make sure every detail is covered. Dr Peralta is a Master of his Art. A true professional, a great listener and always operates with a gentle approach. Most important, he has a deep desire and true passion to offer his best care. He certainly knows how to create a beautiful smile. I was truly impressed. Without reservation, I recommend this awesome dental team highly.

It's been a year and few months now and I'm always treated with kindness and respect. I came here for my four wisdom extractions. I do my cleaning with Silvia and my doctor is Mr. Peralta. I'm also doing the aligners; which I went to get a second opinion with another dentist.

Worst office ever. Dentist don't know what he is doing. Ally the office manager is the most unprofessional person I have seen. These people are thieves and they don't have anyone to replace their dentist when he is on leave. First they mess up your teeth and then ask you to go somewhere else. Terrible experience.

Both my boys had their cleanings and multiple fillings done. The dentist was fast and efficient and super affordable. The front desk receptionist, Claudia was amazing and knowledgeable. Very happy with this dental office. We will be back for years to come. Thank you!!!!!

My experience with Mrs Ali and Dr Peralta was great, they were kind and professional even the Den5al Hygienist was friendly and professional. The front desk personnel was Rude, unwilling to help and careless. I needed a copy of my X-rays and I was told to pay $45 for them, when originally was $20. I have a nice estimation for an Inplant and strongly considering to do it there but front desk service attention make me hesitant to go back there.
