Dr. Chris Robinson is the third generation of his family to provide oral health care to our community. He grew up working in his fathers dental practice watching him create magnificent smiles and always marveled at the ability to seamlessly merge science and art to profoundly affect peoples lives.
With a plan to re-join his cherished hometown community at the end of his college career, Dr. Robinson left Miami, OK at 20-years-old to complete his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University. He then moved to Keystone, Co. and lived there for a short time before returning to Oklahoma to study biochemistry and ultimately enrolling in the OU College of Dentistry.
While attending dental school, he became a founding member of the Rural Interest Group. The group worked to educate future dentists on the shortage of dentists in rural areas and steer them in that direction. Robinson also completed two externships prior to graduation one with the Cherokee Nation and one with the Chickasaw Nation.
Dr. Robinson is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association. He has undergone extensive post-graduate training and education in the fields of restorative dentistry, sedation dentistry and removable prosthodontics (dentures and partials).
Shortly after returning to Miami, OK Dr. Robinson joined Miami Dental Care. He believes strongly in our community and is passionate about seeing it continue to thrive. Dr. Robinson is a member of our local Rotary Club, the Free Masons, supports our local Boy Scout troop, youth sporting programs and participates in a wide variety of community events.
Though he loves the scientific, technological and artistic sides of dentistry, he says, Theres nothing better than new smile day, the day when all treatment is completed and a patient sees their new smile in the mirror for the first time. In his free time, Dr. Robinson enjoys traveling with his family, fishing, hunting, skiing, camping and going to the lake with his dog, Athena.

I wish I could give this office 10 stars!! Hands down the best dental practice I have ever seen. The staff is so friendly, professional and caring! From the receptionist, to the nurse techs, to the hygienists, straight up to Dr. Robinson, they are all delightful to work with! My 83 year old mom had a extreme fall, which knocked her teeth out of socket, created a bone and tooth fracture, as well as a few other chipped teeth. She was in bad shape! She was able to get in quickly and the office staff made her feel very comfortable. They were all so supportive and really care about my mom. The doctor, and his assistant, went above and beyond to help remedy her situation. They were honest with us as to her prognosis and we felt we were getting an informed, intelligent opinion from Dr. Robinson. We have been extremely pleased with their work and would recommend this office to everyone!!

I live in Utah, and I'm in Miami until next week. I called Miami Dental Care yesterday, because one of my teeth broke off. It's an old root canal, so I didn't have any pain, but I was hoping to be able to get a temporary crown. When I called, I was told that their schedule was booked today, and asked if I could come in on Monday. I explained that I'm here from out of town, in Flight Attendant training, and that I cannot come any day next week, as training classes are 10 hours a day, and I will be leaving November 5th. I asked if there were any way they could fit me in today, and they did. Well, turned out they couldn't give me a temporary crown because I don't have enough of a base of my tooth for a crown to stay on. They took x-rays, and discovered I have a few other issues. I don't have insurance out here, so I was concerned about the cost. They let me decide what I wanted to have done here, and what I felt could wait until I get back to Utah. They did a cleaning and filled a small cavity for me, without making me schedule a separate appointment to do so. They were very kind, accommodating and professional. For that I am grateful.
