Dr. Asensi was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She received her first dental degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Dr. Asensi arrived to Miami in 1996, where she completed a general dentistry residency program at Miami Childrens Hospital becoming chief resident. In 2000 she also completed the joined residency program of Miami Childrens Hospital and University of Florida. Her tenacity and desire to become a dentist in the US, made her complete the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Nova Southeastern University in 2003.
Dr. Asensi also graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Master in Public Health in 2021. She clearly understands the health issues of children in a diverse community such as South Florida. She has volunteered in different initiatives for underprivileged children in need of dental help.

Took my son to Miami Childrens Smiles today and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Yanetty and Dr. Gabby were super nice and professional and took care of my son. They gave him some great recommendations. We will definitely be back soon.

I have been one of Dr. Gaby's patients since I was 5 years old, and my mom and I absolutely LOVE her. Not only is she really the best dentist in Miami, who actually knows what she's doing, but she is also honest and truly a great person. Very reasonable, very dedicated, and genuinely cares about you. I love this dentist office!!! They're really friendly and great with kids. I've been bringing my child here for the past 6 years. My son doesn't like sweets so they always remember to use minty paste and fluoride. I would highly this place to any and everyone.

I had to use Miami Children's Smiles a few of years ago, due to moar extractions on my then 10 year old. My son's now 13 needed cavity repair, but needed anesthesia in a hospital setting due to intolerance to injections and to laughing gas and Mesophonia. I came back and the Doctor offered a solution with a new laser machine. No hospitalization needed. It worked great and my son is happy. Thank you so much!
