Dr. Nitzbergs grandfather, Dr. Saul Nitzberg, started practicing medicine in the local area in 1959 as a hematologist. His father, Dr. William D. Nitzberg, followed in his footsteps in 1985 as a cardiologist. Now, as a third-generation health-care provider, he has shifted his familys focus to dentistry.
After earning an undergraduate degree from Florida State University in biology with minor in chemistry (BS) and a Masters in Biomedical Science (MBS), Dr. Nitzberg completed his doctoral degree in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Nitzberg is a member of the American Dental Society, the Florida Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Society, the North Dade/Miami Beach Dental Society and the South Broward Dental Society. He also currently serves as the past president for the South Broward Dental Society.

Dr. Phil Glatstein was the founder of our practice and built the building we are in today. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he served in the marines as a dentist before moving to Miami. He traveled the world doing dentistry for underserved people in Mexico, Vietnam, Israel, and along the Amazon River. Every day we remember him and try to continue his legacy of providing patients with the best possible care and support.

There are very few doctors who I trust and there is only one dentist who I completely trust, he is Dr. Nitzberg. The last crown he recently installed needed no adjustment whatsoever. He is using a new technology which is able to measure exactly the dimensions of the crown needed to occupy its position. I have never felt that he has tried to sell me something that I didn't need, therefore I highly recommend his practice.

Recently I visited Dr. Nitzberg's dental practice for a cleaning, oral exam and routine check up. The staff was very professional, friendly, and followed strict covid protocol as well as rigid sterilization procedures. Dr. Nitzberg and the staff in his office are fantastic. When I unexpectedly had tooth pain during the night last month, they addressed the issue immediately. They fit me the next morning and also referred me to a well regarded endodontist the same day to have the issue addressed. Each time I go to the office they are warm, attentive, and punctual. Highly recommend!

Skillful, experienced, cheerful and passionate about healthier and better-looking teeth, Nitzberg is as good as it gets.
