MHC Healthcare is the oldest community health center, providing continuous health care since its incorporation in 1957. We began by providing medical care to migratory farm workers and other locals in Marana.
By 1964, we had the funds to build a clinic specifically for MHC Healthcare and doubled our staff. We then established our Sliding Fee Scale, making it possible to deliver healthcare to a wider population, especially low income and medically underserved patients.
In 1972, Marana was declared a Critical Health Manpower Shortage area and MHC signed an agreement with the National Health Services Corps to provide healthcare workers for our entire community. Just three years later in 1975, the University of Arizona Department of Family and Community Medicine awarded MHC Healthcare the Hill-Burton Grant, allowing us to substantially enlarge our clinic building. That was our main clinic for 36 years, until we moved into our current Marana Main Health Center in 2011.
MHC Healthcare has grown to a network of 16 Health Centers, employs over 500 staff, and serves over 50,000 patients. Our commitment and dedication to removing barriers towards healthcare services has allowed us to achieve and grow. We will be your healthcare provider for years to come.

Dr. Patel such a remarkable doctor. He took care of my mom from last year September to April 2022. We had been to 3 different dental practices none of them were able to help my mom with her dental issues. Dr. Patel with his knowledge and experience did an amazing dental treatment for her, now she's doing wonderful. She'll never forget the way you made her feel at ease and comfortable. His staff too were so great. MHC Dental Department please don't loose this outstanding Dr. Because of Dr. Patel we will continue to drive 45mins for routine check up. Thank you Dr. Vijay Patel!!

This office actually waste my time and they won't do anything when I have very bad infected tooth and won't give me any rx. They give me hard time and won't help at all. I already explained my history with previous dentists. they kept trying to save my tooth and nothing is working! So I just wanna that tooth to be pulled out, extract it, getting that rotten tooth out! Why don't dentist do their friggin job when I asked.

Clean. Dentist and future Dentists were friendly. I had a billing issue and it was resolved by a gentleman calling me, listening to me, educating me, connecting with me and taking notes on how to better improve the situation. Ask about all their billing options if the front desk does not let you know first.

This office needs a change in policy. The policy that doesn't allow anyone to go back with the patient needs to change. Some people are terrified of the dentist and needs a friend or family member to go back with them. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Seems my review a year ago is right on. My grandson went there with a very bad tooth and was evaluated. After applying for sliding scale, he went upstairs to get an appointment but they were booked out until May. Since he's in so much pain he was told to come during the walk-up hours and they would pull his tooth then. He went and was told to make an appointment. Now he must wait in pain until May!! When will the Dental Dept. put their patients and their well being first?

This is my favorite dentist office. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You get called back in a timely manner and don't have to wait long after going back. I feel like they are very transparent with their services and costs (which has not always been the case at other dentist offices I go to). My husband and I were on AHCCS when we first started going and MHS had a sliding scale for services which made getting fillings done affordable without insurance. I now am on basic dental insurance, and have been just as pleased. My only SMALL complaint is scheduling. Make sure you book cleanings in advance (and ensure it is a day/time you can attend), because rescheduling is tough--they are often books months in advance.

I've been going to the dentist here since I got dental insurance a few years ago. The staff are friendly and helpful and don't bog you down with overpriced products and service. 10/10 will go back until something changes

I have had nothing but great experiences at this dental office. My children go here and everyone is friendly and helpful. Dr. Patel is great with children and I highly recommend him! He really seems to be a natural at making patients feel at ease.The hygienist/tech that works alongside him is great too.I think his name is Arturo.We will continue to come back for our routine dental care.

Dental office visit was good. But they over changed me and was supposed to get a refund check. Never have and I have called the billing department multiple times and only get a voicemail and no one returns my messages. Been calling them over the last two weeks.
