As a dentist, my goal is to share my philosophy and passion forlifelong, comprehensive quality oral healthcare in a modern and comfortable setting. My patients deserve the best and all options, and I want them to be true partners in dental health.

I wake each morning looking forward to the day ahead, and I can honestly say that I love what I do. I enjoy the challenges and fun that dentistry offers, from the clinical aspects to each of my patients wonderful personalities. Seeing smiles after treatment, hearing a surprised, that wasnt bad at all! and receiving referralswith confidence, all make my day. I believe in helping people learn that a visit to my office can be an enjoyable and even fun experience.

I love getting to know people. I want my patients to be as comfortable in their dental home as they can be. My team and I offer a social and well-rounded practice, where we enjoy conversations with our patients, and sharestories and smiles with each person.

Im heavily involved in postdoctorate continuing education in all aspects of dentistry, with an emphasis on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I take pride in surpassing the requirements toachieveand maintaindual dental and pharmacy licensure in several states.

Im also honored to be a faculty club member of the world-famous Spear Education in Arizona. Spear is an amazing teaching and advancement facility that brings together a variety of dental specialists to create a multidisciplinary approach to dental care.

As a pharmacist, I am able tounderstand the human body in ways manyother dentists do not, from dealing with anxiety to more effective anesthesia and pain management. Muscular, skeletal, neurologic, and genetic factors are also factors that must be evaluated in whole-mouth and body health, and my pharmacy background provides another view on these concerns.

By pursuing extensive and advanced continuing education, Im able to provide my patients with the best treatment experience and the strongest, most incredible results for their oral health. Excellent continuing dental education is expensive and time-consuming for a dentist, yet is enjoyable and absolutely worthwhile when you are passionate about what you do and you know how it improves patient care.

As a dentist, I have participated in Missionof Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and the clinic at Roselawn Family Dental Center. I am also an Ohio Dental OPTIONS provider, which enables me to offer free care to disadvantaged people living in our community.

I know I have been granted the physical and mental capabilities that others have not, so it is always humbling and rewarding to help peoplein need. Communities must stick together and support one another. Serving my community as a dentist is my way of giving what some cannot achieve on their own.

I have a beautiful family with two energetic young boys: Brody and Casey.When Im not working, time with my boys is what Im all about. With two young boys, everything is a learning experience for them (and for me, too!) and they love to be constantly on the move. We can often be found at local festivals, hiking in parks, or at the zoo or a restaurant. On the occasions Im not with my boys, I try to squeeze in a trip to the shooting range, the gym, the woods, or the lake.

I enjoy educating my patients and empowering them to take control of their oral health. Seeing a healthy and improved smile at a recall visit makes my day! I deliver personalized, gentle oral hygiene care to patients,perform disease exams and screenings, and offer preventive care and periodontal therapy. I encourage patients to make healthy, positive changes in their habits and home care, too.

I enjoy working with people and creating lasting relationships with our patients. I do my best to ensure each patient has a positive experience during thevisit and leaves with a smile on their face. I assist Dr. Scottchairsideduring procedures, to supporthim and our patient. With my additional schooling and training, Im also able to place restorations.

I like being able to better the lives of my patientswhile having fun and developing a lasting relationship with each of them. I love hearing about whats happening in their lives and with their families, sharing stories, and laughing together. While I clean patientsteeth and perform other hygiene tasks, I talk with them. I teach each person why its important to have good oral health and how to achieve it.

When Im not working, I love time outdoors, especially hiking at The Gorge and swimming, boating, and snowboarding. I play on a volleyball league, too, and love to travel throughout the US and around the world. I also like playing board and card games with friends and family.

I enjoy getting to know each patient while helping them to achieve optimal oral health. Its important for people to understand the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body, so I spend a lot of time educating patients. While I clean teeth and offer periodontal treatment, I talk with patients. Together, we figure out ways they can improve their home dental hygiene and develop good habits.

On the weekends, I love to travel the back roads of the tri-state area with my boyfriendTom. We share an interest in history, especiallythe Civil War. I have a grown son, Jim; he and his wife, Erin, have my four furry grandchildren (two dogs and two cats)! I have my own Siamese cat, Layla, who greets me every night.

I enjoy being able to help our patients get the dental healthcare they deserve. As our financial coordinator, I work directly with patients to find payment arrangements that fit with their budget. I also make sure patients are able to get the most from their insurance benefits and submit claims on their behalf. I handle a variety of front-desk duties, too.

I reside in Liberty Township with my husband, two children, and three cats. In my free time, I enjoy NFL football, UK Basketball, home improvement projects, and travelling to Florida to visit friends and family.
