Alan R. Heap, D.M.D., P.A., received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1978 from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. Dr. Heap practices all phases of general dentistry for children through seniors. Dr. Heap also provides a full range of advanced cosmetic dental services including bleachings, veneers,crowns and bridges. Aside from running a successful dental practice, Dr. Heap is an active member of numerous dental associations including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
C. Michael Turner, D.D.S. graduated from the University of California Irvine in 1980 with a degree in Biological Sciences. He went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where he completed an oral cancer fellowship. Having been in practice for over 21 years, Dr. Turner is an esteemed member of numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, and the Central District Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with his family or writing screenplays, books, and articles.
Dr. Doreen Fahey, D.D.S. has been working with Drs. Heap and Turner in the MetroWest office for over a decade. A graduate of Fordham University, Dr. Fahey obtained a Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After graduating dental school, Dr. Fahey completed a one year General Practice Residency program at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Before moving with her husband and two children to Orlando, Dr. Fahey was in private practice for six years in New Rochelle, New York.
Dr. Jared Nestle is thrilled to return to Central Florida to practiceDentistry in his hometown. Upon graduating from Harmony High School, Jaredmoved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. Dr. Nestlegraduated from FSU summa cum laude with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology in2013. He then began dental school at the University of Florida College ofDentistry, and graduated cum laude in May of 2017.
Born and raised in Saint Cloud, Jared has prided himself on being a part ofthe Central Florida community his entire life. He is ecstatic to be able togive back to the community that played such a major role in his life, andstrives to make a positive impact in the life of every patient he sees.

Honestly, the dentists, and assistants are wonderful and I couldn't ask for better. But the scheduler for this particular office is an absolute nightmare. I have had so much issue just trying to schedule a cleaning and today, my partner goes to the same dentist, they could only do half of his teeth cleaning today and they can't finish the job till... Wait for it..... April. What in the heck? It's almost like the front desk ensures return customers due to the lack of concern for their patients and booking them out so far. If you wanna watch the time tick by and have your teeth fall outta your mouth, go to this office. Again the dental work they do is amazing but it's literally not worth the hassle of the front desk not knowing what the heck they're doing.

We've been with Dr. Heap (and his wonderful staff) for 25+ years. We travel almost 30 miles to his office because the quality of care is unbeatable. More importantly, the human kindness and caring that defines them is what made our country the incredible place that it is. We need more "dr. Heaps'" to make sure our country continues as the best in the world!!!

So unprofessional and disrespectful. I would not recommend going here. Front office admitted to "accidentally" deleting the email from my previous dentist with all my x-rays and scans. What?? How does that happen? Worst of all, they told me I could still come for my scheduled appt, yet when I arrived, they tried to do new scans and charge me again since they DELETED the ones that were sent. Oh, and good luck scheduling a cleaning with them unless you want to be on a waitlist for 10+ months. Don't go here

I went to have my yearly cleaning ( haven't done it since covid) the hygienist did half the job ,called Dr who said (after xrays) thatvi had to see a paradontist because I have paradontal disease in my upper last 2 teeth, and that I have 3 small cavities I asked for these cavities to be filled and cleaning finished, Dr refused because she wanted me to go to paradontist first. I kept saying that I will go to the one they referred but I wNted my cavities filled and my teeth cleaned, wich dr refused to do. Now i cant have another cleaning until 6 months( insurance related)and my teeth are not cleaned as they should be Yes I will go to parondontist( not one they refereed and never coming back to this office. This is just ridiculous.

Caring and courteous staff. A more recent review is as follows... Staff is caring and courteous, however to my disappointment, I had an appointment and after waiting one hour and half, I was not able to see the Dentist, had to leave without being seen. Never before I had to wait that long hope i don't ever have to because I have been going there for about 15 years and would like to continue.

Alan Heap is a great dentist but the people he works with needs to learn how to gain customers versus losing them. Told to be charged $373 for crown on next visit. Went in today and price gone up at almost $500 . It's insane, how are they in business??? Scamming people should be against the law. I feel very disapointed that Alan Heap has these type of staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Heap for over 30 years. His treatment plan for me saved me from progressing gum disease and his repair of my front tooth gave me back a smile. Best dentist I have had the privilege of helping me. And Judy, the best hygienist in the whole world. Actually, the best practice in the whole world--in like--forever!
