Dr Sakhaee is one of the best dentists! He makes sure you are very comfortable and there aren't a lot of Dentists who do. Hes very thorough and lets you know all of your options of treatment. Great practice!

Metropolitan Smiles is a great commercial dentist in Kew Gardens. Unlike so many other clinics, this place actually has great enough of parking that's easy to find and use.

I waited almost 2 hours. Why can't the office just take less appointments? It's bad. I think I have to find a new dentist. Every single time I go it's such a long wait. Thankfully the staff is so nice though! They made the experience better.

Today I had a great dental session with Dr. Nina at Metropolitan Smiles. I would highly suggest booking in with her if you can. My teeth feel so clean and white after my teeth whitening session.

Very pleasant team. Earnest concern for my needs: I was offered additional solutions--even though those solutions were not covered by my insurance. The practice is obviously very popular--which was evident by the long wait to be seen. From what I could tell while I waited (50 minutes), the average wait time to be seen is about 45 minutes. Overall, excellent experience.

If I could, I would leave zero stars for this place I would. I do not understand how this place has 5 stars. It is very misleading to people who are looking to get great dental attention. I myself was mislead by the good reviews and close proximity to where I live. At the beginning, the dentist appeared to be doing their job and I had no complaints. However, this year in July, when I went to get my dental checkup and cleaning, I found out I needed a root canal. Besides that however, there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Or so they said. When I moved in August, I went to another dentist to confirm I needed a root canal. Here they also found out I had 2 cavities that had been left untreated at Metropolitan Smiles. While I can blame it on myself that I didn't take care of my teeth in the span of a month, this is not true. After finding out I had a root canal in July, I made sure to take extra care of my teeth by buying an electric toothbrush and brushing and flossing 3 times a day. It is impossible for a cavities to appear in such a short time especially when extra care is taken. After all, cavities take weeks to years to form. This means that this dentist saw my cavities and did nothing. I'm starting to wonder if the reason for my root canal is also because they did nothing earlier. Don't trust this dentist. Similar stuff happened to my mother who went here. When she went for a cleanup, they told her she needed to change her root canal crown because they were damaged. However, she felt unsure with this diagnosis and went to another dentist for a second opinion. It turns out that the teeth didn't need a crown change but that they needed to be removed completely. They were broken. However, Metropolitan Smiles never said the teeth needed to be removed. They just needed crown changes. These are only two cases. Who knows how many more have been left unwritten. Once again, do not trust this place. Find a better dentist.

The lady who took my x-rays was nice and quiet. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was so friendly and nice. She really helped me feel comfortable, which I loved since I have trauma with dentists and dental offices. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The dentist was a very chill guy, I appreciated that. I also appreciated how down to earth he and the mental hygienist were. The dentist was also knowledgeable. He told me about something with my underbite that I had never known about and I had previously gone to a dentist who didn't say anything. So I appreciated learning something new, especially because it might effect me in the future if not taken care of. Overall, I really liked the experience and would go again for future cleanings and consults. I'm curious to see how they are when it comes to a cavity filling. I would recommend this spot to other people for sure.
