Had to have a tooth pulled today at Metro Dental, Midway office. I was pleased with everyone I dealt with, they we all very friendly, also Dr Tahara explained everything prior to the procedure, which really helped put me at ease. Would highly recommend Metro Dental.

The doctors, surgeons, office staff, etc. are wonderful. Very friendly. HOWEVER the administrative process of booking a cleaning, tooth extraction, etc. is terrible. When I initially made appointments for my entire family over the phone, they were booked as consults and not cleanings. Then they were booked at the wrong location. Then when we arrived, although I had already sat with the iPad for 20 minutes entering info for my entire family, they made my husband do it again, and then I had to fill out paperwork again with the same info. We also were referred to Woodlake ortho in Lake Elmo to get a tooth extracted, so we went but that was just a consult, and then we were referred back to metro to get the extraction. Why so many appoint?? And then metro never called like they said they would so then I had to call repeatedly. And then they said they didn't have the referral from Woodlake. I must have called back and forth 5 times. And then I couldn't get the actual tooth extraction scheduled because the 'clinical' team never called me back. I don't know what the issue is.

Very gentle. Very informative. Very thorough. I really enjoy coming to the dentist because of this place! I travel over 40 miles to keep my appointments. They're THAT good! Very pleasant experience, top to bottom.

I was in and out really quickly. The staff is always friendly and has dealt with tracking down my insurance company on more than one occasion. One note -There was some kind of system glitch so the usual call the day before to confirm the appointment didn't come this time, but other than that one oddity, I love coming here for all my dental needs.

Friendly and very professional staff. Hygenist Leigh was great to work with, treated me with respect and compassion. Dr.Benni (spelling) likewise was quite professional and optimistic about current health and future.

I was a long time patient. My dentist left and I had a consultation with Dr. Ala today. He was dismissive. As someone who has anxiety when it comes to the dentist I wouldn't go to him. It's unfortunate because they used to have some wonderful dentists. The support staff is still wonderful. But there is no way I can trust someone who was as dismissive and non reassuring as Dr. Ala. After the appointment he just left me in the room after telling his assistant he needed to talk to her. I sat there for 5 minutes and then just walked out and canceled all future appointments.

These people try to take money for nothing. They disrespect the patient. I wouldn't recommend doing any business with them. UPD. The issue was resolved, thank you. I'm editing my review accordingly.

Dr. Beni went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable getting a crown put it. Very fast and efficient and no pain. Had a brief episode of vertigo in the chair but she handled it very professionally and made sure things were back to normal for me before I left. Thanks Dr. Beni and staff. Frank

I've been going to this location for years, and today I had an appointment only to get to the office and they were closed! I was never contacted about my appointment being canceled. Sad thing about I was sent confirmation emails, but never a cancelation notice!

The dentist and assistant are amazing. I think I got the best explanations and care. And most of the office people were great, but one person was very rude on the phone. Maybe she had a bad day. The billing department is not good at all. They never sent me a bill, then overcharged me over the phone and never tried to refund me. No response at all. I had to dispute the amount of overcharge. They used to be beyond amazing as a whole team until early 2022. I don't know what happened. I still continue to go there because the dentists and assistants are amazing. Thank you so much for your excellent care. I appreciate your care.

Dr. Beni is always amazing. I've been her patient for over 15 years. The hygienist I seen today was pretty rough. I thought to reschedule my next appointment with anyone else, but unfortunately everyone was booked :( I guess I'm stuck unless someone cancels. I could visit another location also. All in all, this is a great place, but I've also noticed some turnover...it could be the HOT job market.

Today I came in for a cleaning. The dental assistant told me I needed a signed form from my doctor saying I was safe to have dental work done without antibiotics. In 2020 I had hip replacement and for a year after any dental work I took antibiotics. This year I've received dental care this 2022 without need of antibiotics or note from my doctor. I was told since it has been so long I am not at risk. I would have appreciated a notice about the change before I came in this morning.I have been having dental care at Metro Dental since 1968 and have always been happy with the professional competent care. Today was frustrating and no one offered a solution. I leave for Arizona next week and will not be returning until spring. I do not plan to return to Metro dental for my dental care unless someone is will go back and check the records.

Even if I am going on to see Dr Tahara to have multiple teeth pulled I go having little anxiety and I have anxiety disorder. He has a sense of humor and has a calming way about him. I know I am in good hands. His assistant is nice to chat with (while waiting for the Novocaine to work).
