I have been seeing Dr. Tran and his staff at Metro Dental for about 5 years now, and it has been the best dental experiences in all my years. Dr.Tran is competent and kind. The hygienists and admin staff have all been very good as well. Lots of people I know hate going to the dentist---but not me! I am glad to go to a friendly place and be confident that my teeth are getting the best professional care. I am happy to give them a 5 star review.

It had been many years since seeing a dentist after a bad experience. I took the plunge and went here. I've now been going here at least 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Tran will tell you everything that needs to be done, and will say what can wait and what shouldn't. He shows and explains the x-rays. I've had root planing, cleanings, a couple crowns and root canals. I actually have a good time here because everyone is so nice - Taylor is a hoot and a great hygienist.

I love Dr. Tran and Metro Dentalcare. This has been my dentist for 12 years. He fixed my two front teeth years ago, one had been chipped in college. It changed my entire look

I went to metro dental care for dental cleaning. When the work was done, my upper front two teeth felt quite gritty and unclean. So, I asked the dental hygienist to check if it can be cleaned. She abruptly and forcefully, roughly scrapped on my teeth, causing my teeth to feel super sore as if it's thinning out and about to break apart. I had to tell her to just please stop it, concerning how she could have done more damage on my teeth more than doing good to it. The two upper front teeth was sore and painful right after the dental visit. But, I thought I should give it a time, a few days to one week to see if the soreness would go away. My teeth were constantly sore and painful for 1 week. I made an appointment to see Dr. Tran only to hear him saying that everything was fine. 1 month had passed and my teeth continued to feel sore up to an unbearable point. I scheduled myself in to get a reassessment and reevaluation from Dr. Tran. He applied coating on it, the soreness reduced by much, but my teeth had red stain on it after the coating was applied until people kept on asking my what did I eat why my teeth looked so dirty. It was so embarrassing. I had no idea why it stained. Unbearable seeing the stain, and not knowing if it is going to be permanent or temporary because it has been two weeks, I raised my concern on my follow-up visit with Dr. Tran. He was surprised to see the stain and tried to remove it with a wipe. But, the stain remains. Dr. Tran gave me the option to remove it. I decided to have it removed and hoping that my teeth will no longer feel sore and painful. However, once the coating was removed, the soreness and pain came back, each day worse than the other. Now it has been 2+ month and my teeth feel sore and painful ever since the coating was removed. It continues to feel sore and painful. This is a nightmare and a very horrible experience. I don't know if the damage that was done by the dental hygienist can be repaired or revert back. I never had this type of soreness and pain on my two upper front teeth in my whole life and my teeth were perfectly fine all these time, never had issues or pain. This is the first time after a very rough treatment from a dental hygienist. It is very scary and I don't know what she had done to my teeth. Avoid yourself going to this clinic! The dental hygienist name is Tyler!!!!!!! Save yourself from going through all of these unethical practice and troubles.

Dr, Tran is and his Team are kind and thoughtful. He explained as he crowned one molar, and the second molar he replaced an very old filling with a new filling while making sure I was not in pain! I highly recommend Metro Dental Care Minnetonka!!

This place has really gone downhill. I had an appointment in April that was cancelled because the office was closed for a system upgrade, but no one bothered to contact me and tell me that my appointment had been cancelled. Since then I've tried to re-schedule through their website, but no one bothers to contact me. I tried calling today and it just goes to voicemail.

I can no longer recommend this dental practice! Their administrative staff is unable to handle billing issues. They have billed me incorrectly for services that their staff told me (and printed a statement to confirm) multiple times was covered by insurance and they will not return my phone calls to discuss and resolve. I have called them and discussed with their receptionist and Dr. Tran directly multiple times and I still keep bills / past due notices. They used to be great, this is highly disappointing. Update: I'm relieved to say my issue did get resolved, but this was after more phone calls I had to make and staff blaming each other for the problems.

Dr. Tran is the best dentist I've ever had. I love Taylor too. Does a great job and makes everything very comfortable and fun. The staff up front are very good as well. Super friendly and helpful.
