Was billed for dental procedures that my insurance covered. Very pushy..told me l needed thousands of dollars for future procedures that are not covered by my insurance.

Metro Dental has been keeping my teeth healthy for many years. I was on a wait list for an appointment. They called to let me know of an opening so I didn't need to wait. My hygienist was knowledgeable, competent and friendly. I would recommend Metro Dental to all in Chanhassen area.

Been coming to this dental office exclusively for 10+ years. But with post-COVID era, they do everything they can to NOT earn your business. I have been trying to get into this appointment about 3 times... On 5/12/2022, I walked into my scheduled appointment @ 11am and greeted by the receptionist with already a stand-offish attitude. Check-in is usually quick, but they had me give my personal data as if I was a new patient. Filled-out some paperwork, including HIPAA information. After spending all that time giving away my personal information, the receptionist tells me I have COVID symptoms with little coughs, and she refuses me service. She said I circled the cough symptom on the paper, (I circled congestion if she read it properly). I have little coughs and congestions all my life, so apparently I can no longer have dental services. She says that's not true, but I would have to wait for at least 10 days before re-considered for dental treatment. The next appointment would be in November. Puts me on a 'waiting list' for a new hygienist who is on training without knowing any details of the hygienist's schedule. Keeps referencing to me the CDC guidelines. So I asked her how does she know I have COVID, and if I would need to submit a COVID test result as proof? She says a COVID test is not required. So basically she's telling me that Metro Dentalcare can refuse service whenever they feel like it by making-up some hypothetical excuse. Ok, so next time I come back, you'll say that my skin color does not look normal like hers and use that as a COVID symptom against me and refuse service again. They have cancelled on me days and hours before our previously scheduled appointments due to 'office is closed' and other excuses; all out of the blue. Hygienist back in late 2021 I had didn't do a good job cleaning my teeth (and I think this is the same receptionist who tried to cancel that appointment on me saying they didn't have a hygienist only when the Dentist overheard and corrected her). This place has been going downhill since COVID era. Can't seem to keep-up with common-sense guidelines and retaining good staff. Check with other dental practices within your network by doing a simple search and call. I found another clinic booked for teeth cleaning the following week.

Metro Dentalcare is great. I like going to the dentist about as much as anybody but Metro Dentalcare Chan makes it a nice experience. Everyone is very nice, from receptionist to hygienist and the dentist doctor was best I've had in a long time. Grace hygienist was super friendly and professional. Love it. Highly recommend. May 2022.

I had been very happy with them for 2 years and now a routine cleaning turns into an estimate of the work needed. I never had an issue with my teeth previously and now I need thousands in work and fixtures.

Very happy and completely satisfied with everyone from the receptionist, dental hygienest and Dentist. Amy was absolutely wonderful, very professional, kind and caring. I would recommend Metrodentalcare - Chanhassen to anyone and everyone.

My family has been going here for a few years because our insurance started charging a premium for our preferred provider. It has always been a revolving door of dentists. One was really bad, but all the others have been good. Now they are short on hygienists, so our appointments have been cancelled twice this year the day before our appointments. They don't offer any priority to reschedule, so we won't have both of our cleanings again this year. I'm planning to find a different provider.

I've been going there for a few years and I called to let them know I was going to be late and I ended up being 10 minutes late and they wouldn't take me and my daughter and locked the door in front of me as I was getting out of my car. They told me if I had only been 5 minutes late they would have taken me but not when I'm 10 minutes late. I said what about when you've made me wait 10 minutes - that's ok but you won't take me when I'm late. Treated rudely by staff and won't be going back there anymore!

I made an online appointment through their online appointment system and then received a confirmation that my requested appointment was accepted and confirmed. I get there and they're telling me they cannot locate my appointment. I drove 25min and took off work to be there and now I'm being told they had a system hiccup. I understand things happens. However, the frustrating part was their lack of empathy and inability to fix the issue at hand. There was a lot of talk about how it wasn't their fault and less of how they can actually make it right for me. Which would have been to still get me in that same day. I've noticed lately that business customer service and the act of going above and beyond has decreased tremendously. More so, this particular location came highly recommended by one of their long time patient who takes their entire family there. I'll be sure they know about this.
