After graduating from The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2003 I chose to further my professional education with a General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. The residency was in association with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. I am committed to continuing education at the highest level and attend several programs each year to enhance the care we provide. My current continuing education is focused on IV sedation, dental implant surgery and grafting.
I love our practice and working at Metro Dental Associates as it allows me to provide high quality care. Our patients deserve the best and we are committed to comprehensive care which is personally rewarding.
Ashlee is a Wyoming, MI native. She graduated from the Grand Rapids Community College hygiene program in 2011. At a young age, Ashlee knew she wanted to be part of a dental team based on her experiences growing up. She loves to educate and help guide her patients to achieve overall oral health and home care. Ashlee always places an emphasis on each patients personal goals and desires. When out of the office, Ashlee enjoys family time with her husband and two young children.
Kristy feels blessed to be part of the team at Metro Dental! With over 25 years experience as a hygienist, she looks forward to taking care of patients and their families. She loves building relationships and her career as a dental hygienist. Kristy keeps up with the latest dental techniques by pursuing advanced continuing education in dental hygiene.
Gail has worked alongside Dr. Dew from the start and is the main treatment coordinator at Metro Dental Associates. She does so much more than simply assist Dr. Dew during various procedures! She is technically skilled but also focused on taking exceptional care of patients while making them feel comfortable and appreciated. Gail enjoys working with her team and helping patients have healthier and prettier smiles.
Denise has been an instrumental part of Metro Dental Associates for 25 years! She works to ensure the patient experience is the most important aspect of the practice. Denise handles day to day operations within the business ensuring the most successful outcome for patients and supporting Dr. Dew and the team.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dew and his highly trained staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and personable. I came in for a filling and Dr. Dew took the time to explain to me the procedure and what would take place and really put my mind at ease. He explained everything that was happening as he was performing the procedure. He took the extra steps to make sure I was okay, and not feeling any discomfort. Gail his assistant was incredible, you can tell she has a lot of experience with how knowledgeable she is at her job. Ashley and Kristi took the time to say hello to me and made me feel so comfortable and right at home. Laurie at the front desk was very helpful and kind with getting my insurance figured out. This is a great team, a great staff and first class care!

One of my sons had an innocent that left him with a loose front tooth. Everyone's worst fear is loosing their front teeth, especially in their 20's. Dr. Dew's office (thank you so much Ashlee) got him in immediately! Dr. Dew & his staff was able to save his front tooth. Thank you all so much!!

Hadn't had my teeth cleaned in about 6 years went in feeling a little self conscious about that came out with what I think Is the best cleaning I ever had and they are very thorough making sure you have the clean mouth you want thanks guys

Dr Dew and his entire staff are the best. I had a dental emergency and the staff got me right in to see Dr. Dew. Not an easy fix but problem resolved. Can't ask for kinder folks.

Very thorough exam and clearly explained. Comfortable cleaning (even after 2 years). I am generally anxious about going to the dentist. At Metro I felt comfortable. They took the time to ask about my anxiety and did everything the could to accommodate my needs.

The staff is all very friendly, and care about your experience being as painless as possible. Dr. Dew spent time with me to figure out where I wanted to take things. Gave me recommendations that were best for me, and has reasonable rates which I appreciate since I don't have dental insurance right now.

I've been to many Dentists in my 50plus years. Dr. Dew and his team have by far the best Chair Side Manner. No rush. They make sure you're informed and comfy before the work begins! They treat you as a partner in the process instead of just another annoying client, like many Dentists do. Plus the view out the window is awesome!
