She received a Doctorate of dental surgery at University of Texas Dental school in Houston, Texas . She is currently continuing her education at the prestigious Las Vegas institute of advanced dental studies in Nevada. In addition, she is proud to be a member of the American Orthodontics Society.
Living in Houston for over thirty years, Dr. Jamea considers herself a Houstonian and contributes to many local charities. On her spare time, she loves to volunteer as a dentist for under privileged families.
Dr. Sid Ahmadi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from Baylor College of Dentistry In Dallas Texas, where he also earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D). Dr. Ahmadi graduated from Michigan State University as an Electrical Engineer. For over six years, he worked as a design engineer prior to becoming a dentist. He was completing his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering when his interest turned to dentistry.
Dr. Ahmadi is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (DICOI) one of the highest certificates and title and is also a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). These awards are given to dentists who are dedicated to lifelong learning, professional development, and continuing education. Both the Diplomate and Fellowship certificates require a rigorous written and oral exam and years of continuing education. In addition, Dr. Ahmadi has studied under Carl E. Misch, a renowned implantologist and prosthodontist where he has earned certificates in various surgery disciplines. It is the compilation of these experiences and skills both as a surgeon and a clinician who has earned him praises from his patients and recognition from his peers.
Dr. Ziafat graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Honors College at the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the esteemed University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. Upon completion of her education, she returned to her hometown of Houston, Texas to begin her dental career. Dr. Ziafat places the utmost importance on quality patient care and education. With her gentle touch and friendly chairside manner, Dr. Ziafat strives to make every patient feel valued and at ease while they are in her care. She truly values the relationships she has made and continues to make with patients old and new. Dr. Ziafat looks forward to meeting you.
Omar has been in the dental field over 15 years and has been working with Dr. Jamea for over 5 years. He loves to answer any questions our patients might have. In addition to excellent patient care, he is certified in a same day crown program. He continually strives to expand his knowledge by participating in different dental courses to receive continual education. He is also a Registered Dental Assistant and proficient in Spanish and English.
I have been with both offices for over 5 years. I have 2 children whom I love and adore. Everyday I come to work I strive to make my patients happy. Im very personable when it comes to my patients and knowledgeable about the process and procedures of insurance claims. My goal in life is to contribute beyond myself and set an example for my children.
Monica is the longest standing employee of our team . She has been with Methodist Dental over 10 years and has over 15 years of dental experience. She can break down and explain complicated insurance benefits and can help accommodate all of our patients busy schedules.
April has been working at Methodist dental for over 5 years, she is a registered dental assistant, and loves to put patients at ease. Many of our patients complement her on her gentle touch and attentiveness.
