Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY! I have had the worst experience here. Julia Daigle with her zero to none professional dental experience has severely damaged a nerve during a filler procedure she's done. At first, I had extreme pain weeks after the filler, I came back to their office and she claimed that the filler she has done did not fill all the way through. Then she proceeded to re-do it. Afterwards, I still experienced pain and went to another dentist to find out that Daigle has damaged a nerve, plus traumatized the tooth during her sloppy procedures and I ended up needing a root canal. BIG WARNING, THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!

Dr Tingstrom is the best dentist EVER!! I'm a "dental coward" but I no longer delay regular checkups or needed dental procedures. She's gentle and kind, and explains everything very well. The staff is always friendly and efficient.

Dr. Daigle and her team are wonderful! They provided me with excellent care and treatments. I was especially grateful that Dr. Daigle and her team treated me for what I needed. In the past, I went to dentists that wanted to sell me services, but Dr. Daigle listened to me and offered solutions. She patiently answered all the questions I had and explained all the different treatments I had to go through. I also would like to mentioned how much I appreciate Dr. Arghami. I lost a tooth and needed an implant. Dr. Arghami and Dr. Daigle helped me with my implant. Hannah and Olivia, who work at the front desk, are so helpful and kind. I appreciate them!

Avoid this place. They have a scare sales tactic or pressure sales tactic. U might not even need what they're trying to sell you. Get a second opinion at least.

This place is horrible Dr. Scipione convinced me to get his high tech same day porcelain crown. Within a month it cracked. After paying hundreds of dollars for it and sneakily charged twice for. They replace it. And it chips again. I went to another dental office Penn dental and they told me many things wrong with that tooth. One it's not the right material to be a molar tooth. And that there is a gap in the gum line like it wasn't put in right. And today still having it just cracked off after eating rice and salmon. Run from this office seriously. It may look nice and fancy but prepare for a botched job.

People are nice but they're not very thorough. I lost a tooth because "someone dropped the ball" on my crown which was paid for months ago. I assumed they'd tell me since I had scheduled implants and paid for it in full but they never did until my tooth erupted so now i have to get it extracted. They're also not considerate of your time. Every appointment, I had to wait nearly an hour to see someone. 1 hour visits turn into 3-4 hours visits and it's really irritating if you're a busy person. Very nice people, just not very professional and I hate giving bad reviews but my experience there warranted one.

I love this place , the people here are so kind and very professional. The front desk worker Olivia is amazing and helped me tremendously. Everyone here is always helpful and they make u feel comfortable. I was always nervous going to the dentist but NOT here . Thank you .

I had a great experience at Metairie Modern Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, Ms. Olivia at the front desk was so kind and helpful. The assistants were very sweet and professional, especially Marcella and Bev. My experience with Dr. Daigle was wonderful! She is so gentle and kind, and I trust her to take care of my dental needs as conservatively as possible while still treating the issues that can no longer be monitored. You can tell how much she truly cares for her patients' well-being. I definitely would recommend Metairie Modern Dentistry and specifically Dr. Daigle to all my friends and family in the area!

So it's a story. Went there to get a cleaning and was told I needed a "deep cleaning" I went in knowing all my wisdom teeth where impacted and I had two cavities. One on top of the other on my right side. Now these cavities had never hurt before but I knew they where there and my wisdom teeth would give me a headache here and there but that's pretty much it. I went through with the cleaning and they put me on a payment plan. Pretty much ripped me off. Absolutely ridiculous. I have Humana dental. Should be good right? Nope. Out of pocket was more then 1000$. To top in off about a months later I start getting excruciating pain on the right side of my mouth. I figured maybe they hit something or cleaned a little to far into where my cavities where, so I go back and explain. This time they take another X-ray and of course they where sure to charge for it, and basically told me they did nothing and it's just my tooth getting worse. Now I just find it really hard to believe I went a couple years with nothing and then after the cleaning bam! It pops up cause my teeth are getting worse. Now the icing on the cake they want $4000 to pull the two and the wisdom! Who has that? And 6000$ without insurance. I find it very convenient for them that this happened right after they cleaned my teeth. After my second appointment the dentist gave me a prescription for the pain and told me to make an appointment to get them pulled asap...I've decided to go elsewhere. I feel like this was done intentionally to make sure they make bank.

Excellent service! Dr. Scipione and his team are just amazing! I have been receiving dental care treatment for approximately 4 years now with Metairie Modern Dentistry and they are the best! Everyone genuinely care for the patient, plus they will do their best to accommodate the patients with their finances. The staff is always very friendly and understanding! Additionally, Dr. McDaniels, who is the endodontist, is the most amazing and experienced professional I have ever come across, plus a very humble human being. Thanks to her, I stopped been fearful when it comes to root canal procedures! Without a doubt, I would highly recommend to everyone to stop-by the Metairie Modern Dentistry location!

The billing and scheduling team is horrible. I have scheduled appts and they move my appt. without my knowledge. They promise to send estimates for out of pocket expenses which I never receive. The billing is simply a disaster. I expected more from this dental office but I am walking away highly disappointed.

Amazing place. Myself and my daughter both had appointments and they were so efficient Even opened the door between our rooms so I could keep an eye on her while I was having my visit. Justin was amazing, friendly, and he really makes going to the dentist more enjoyable!

Lauren and Hannah are absolutely the best employees in this building (not sorry). I hate going to the dentist and they 100% make the visit enjoyable and one to look forward too. Give 'em a raise please. Dr. Scorpions is very communicative and helpful - I've never absorbed information but his way of explaining is very comforting and easy to understand.
