Dr. Caylin Frye grew up in south Florida and attended Florida State University for her undergraduate studies before traveling to our nations capital for dental school at Howard University. Following her graduation from Howard University, Dr. Frye completed a one year general practice residency at the Washington D.C. Veterans Medical Center where she received additional training in endodontics, prosthodontics, and implantology all while helping our nations veteran population. The training that Dr. Frye has received paired with her outgoing and friendly personality makes her a great addition to our Metairie Dental Centre team. Whether you come in with a toothache or the desire to update your smile, Dr. Frye is here to help you achieve your goals!
In Dr. Fryes free time she is an avid sports enthusiast and spends Saturdays watching her alma mater, the Florida State Seminoles, and of course Sundays following the one and only New Orleans Saints! Dr. Frye also loves dancing and was even in the world renowned tap company Sole Defined.

This office has gone down hill fast. No one ever picks up the phone. No one returns calls to clients with questions. You can't cancel appointments and their business cards threaten a charge if cancellation isn't within 48 hours. You literally cannot get a hold of anyone in the office. And the excuse is "we're short staffed". It's a shame but will not be returning to this disorganized mess of a business

Have been there a few times over the years and have had great service. My family loves Dr Murphy. The last few months I have had trouble getting through to the office. I was able to talk to the new manager kristy who told me she would keep in touch with me. I was hesitant since over the six months I have not had any return calls. But she called back within a few hours to check in with me and let me know that she had not forgotten about me and would call back. She did in fact call back again that afternoon to resolve an appointment issue. I am beyond grateful considering I have been waiting for months for a response from anyone. At least she checked in with me. I liked that. Two thumbs up for Kristi.

When I appeared for my dental cleaning -- after waiting weeks for dental treatment -- I was told by the hygienist that they would not move forward until I had a clearance from "my doctor." They did not tell me I needed this clearance when we scheduled the cleaning, right after my checkup, and they have set my efforts to get an kidney transplant back by weeks or maybe even months. I will be filing a complaint with the Board of Dentistry. Update: I found a dentist who was willing to do a checkup and dental cleaning in one appointment instead of the three appointments required by Metairie Dental Centre. That dentist did not require a pointless medical clearance from a random doctor, because neither the procedure itself nor the anesthetic has any effect on kidneys. This experience reinforced my belief that Metairie Dental Centre essentially committed dental malpractice by behaving in a way to prolong my time on dialysis -- and subject me to the myriad and serious biochemical consequences of that medical treatment.

A simple extraction with Dr. Sylvia Brautigam turned into one of the most traumatic experiences I've had at a doctors office. This woman's actions kept me in pain for so much longer than necessary. Multiple people in the office seemed to continuously lie to cover up the malfeasance. Not once did Dr.Brautigam reach out to explain or apologize. Zero integrity. Zero compassion. I will carry the trauma of this with me for years. I can't speak to other dentists in the office but Dr. Brautigam, Michelle, and others were absolutely horrible to me. There are so many other dentists that understand healthCARE. Here I was degraded and dismissed.
