Metairie Dental Care is dedicated to maintain your oral health and well-being. Our dentist Dr. Richardson provides a wide range of services that include cosmetic and restorative work using the latest dental technology and treatments. The friendly staff that we have at our practice strives to create a welcoming environment for our patients and ensures a stress-free experience during their visit.
Dr. Richardson achieved his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from Louisiana State University. He attends continuing education courses several times throughout the year, allowing him to offer the newest technology and treatments to his patients. Dr. Richardson is passionate about dentistry and continually strives to stay current on the newest technology and techniques dentistry has to offer. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Richardson was born and raised in the New Orleans area and loves all the city has to offer. In his free time, he enjoys golf and basketball and watching LSU and Saints football games. You might also find him attending local festivals, such as the French Quarter Festival or the Seafood Festival, when he is out of the office. As a dentist, Dr. Richardson takes a conservative approach to addressing patients chief concerns. He takes the time to understand their needs and desires and then adopts an appropriate treatment plan for the individual patient.

Dr Jeffery and the ladies were professional, accommodating and have excellent bedside manner. They were all efficient and friendly, which given my issues, made me feel immediately comfortable.

If you're looking for a dentist, or more importantly, a dental hygienist, don't look any further. When I moved from Baton Rouge several years ago, I had been a patient of one dental practice for 30 years. I had probably had my teeth cleaned by the same hygienist for 25 of those years, and let's be real, it's the hygienist that you spend 60 minutes with and the dentist maybe 5. I suddenly developed a fear of someone new scraping and poking in my mouth, and it's been tough to get over. Pre-Covid I tried Exceptional Dental and didn't like it, especially when I was done and ready to pay and they put me in a little room like I was buying a car. A few months ago a front tooth broke and Dr. Richardson was the only dentist that could see me on short notice. Every person that I came in contact with reminded me of the practice in BR, and he couldn't have been more easy-going and efficient. I just had my first cleaning/check-up and Lisa passed the test. I have found my new dental home, and you should make it yours.

Kelly, Myisha, and Dr. Richardson were all great. I had a broken tooth emergency and my usual dentist was no longer taking my insurance. I was referred to Metairie Dental Care and it was the BEST thing that happened. Dr. Richardson was warm, compassionate, and skillful. He fixed my tooth good as new! Niceness goes a long way and now my whole family will be going here.

My experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit. Dr. Richardson was amazing! He was thorough and made sure that I was okay during the entire procedure. I would recommend Metairie Dental Care to family and friends for sure!

I love coming to get my teeth cleaned here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating as my schedule is somewhat last minute and they do their best to fit me in to clinic. Dr. Richardson is always a pleasure to see and talk with. Thank you Dr. Richardson and staff

This is an awesome place. Had a dental emergency, called and they accepted me as a walk in. I live in Mississippi. The staff was extremely courteous, from the receptionist, the assistant, and the dentist himself. I usually don't post reviews, but even in getting a tooth pulled, I would highly recommend them.
