Dr. Messenger is a board-certified specialist in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, a destinction held by less than 1/3rd of orthodontists. She is an Orange County native and completed her undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara. She competed on the NCAA Cross County and Track & Field teams and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Psychology.
Dr. Messenger earned her Doctorate in Dental Sciences (DDS) from UC Los Angeles School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Messenger continued her study of cosmetic dentistry and completed a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Southern California. She practiced general dentistry for 3 years in Orange County before continuing her education in orthodontics at the Oregon Health & Science University.
Shannon lives in Huntington Beach. Shehas an amazing husband and 2 'man cubs' that are both incollege. When she is not working she enjoysgoing tosporting events. Shannon LOVES the Denver Broncos, The Angels, and The Ducks. Her favorite thing to do istravel with her family and friends.
Calista is a native of Orange County and currently enrolled at Orange Coast College pursuing a degree in engineering. She is one of the first faces you will see when coming into the office and is always happy to help you with your scheduling needs.

We have been going to Dr. M for a couple years. She has done a great job with my two daughters' teeth. She is very knowledgeable and the results are amazing. Her office staff is responsive and very friendly.

I've enjoyed my time with Messenger. They've done exactly what I set out to do in regards to correcting my teeth placement. My teeth look great and everyone has been so nice and kind during my time there. Only suggestion is and I'm not sure this exist but while paying off your payment I wish there was a online system to track your payments and balance for visibility.

Dr Messenger and her staff are awesome!! They are so kind and very professional . I had Invisalign and I couldn't be happier ! My teeth look amazing. Dr. Messenger made sure they were perfect and I am so appreciative. I did my research to find the best orthodontist and she is definitely the best! :)

Another orthodontist said I wasn't a good candidate for Invisalign but Dr. Messenger said I was... and she was right! 18 months and I am finally done. She is a perfectionist and I appreciated knowing she was going to make my teeth as perfect as they could be and not get lazy or bored in the process. The staff is nice. Funny being an adult patient with all the kids around me but overall a good experience and I'm happy with my results.

I would give them 6 stars if I could! Dr. M and her awesome staff were so nice and professional, I actually drive 30-45 minutes each way to go to their office. As one of the more "mature" patients (I am in my 50s...), I felt very welcome and not at all out of place getting my teeth fixed at my age. Wish I had done this years ago! You will not find a nicer Dr & team, and their office is unbelievable: so clean, modern and cool. I am 100% happy with choosing Messenger Orthodontics

Dr messenger's office is the best! We are so happy with my son's teeth. Can't believe how fast his treatment was! He walked out today with the most beautiful straight teeth and smile. Not only is the office beautiful.....staff is so nice and friendly. They have the most modern equipment and do everything in office....X-rays, retainers etc. My second child is in braces now and I can't wait to see his perfect smile also.

Researched way too many orthodontists before I decided to go with Dr Messenger. As an adult getting braces, I had some reservations. But Dr M and her office staff made me very comfortable. Every visit was pleasant and professional. Results were great. Thanks Dr Messenger

We recommend Dr. Messenger and her staff to anyone looking for orthodontic work. They are extremely professional and work around our busy schedules to be accommodating and fit us in whenever we need it. We loved the cutting edge state of the art facility. Dr. Messenger and her staff are amazing! They are personable, caring and helpful. When you have a problem or issue with your retainer or other orthodontic work, they are quick to respond and schedule an appointment the soonest you could come in which could be same day! They make fixing your smile easy and enjoyable which is not something I thought I would ever say. I highly recommend coming here for your orthodontic work!

I came to Dr. Messenger for invisalign as an adult. She is an expert in her field, and has an outstanding team of ladies. They all work together effectively and efficiently on patients. The professionalism is unparalleled, and so is the vibe in this office! They also utilize only state-of-the-art technology.
