Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I love this office! Everyone Is so awesome the really tall guy I think his name is Dr Youssif was super nice. Rebecca did a great job cleaning my teeth and Monica in the front was super nice!

I went here for an emergency, I was hurting bad since Wednesday and I went to Monarch dental in Town East on friday and the dentist didn't even bother to check and prescribe an antibiotic and pain meds I was sent home with a treatment plan and nothing for my infection which is causing severe pain and it could lead to something worst. The next morning the pain meds that I was taking over the counter is no longer working, so I searched for another dental office and I found Mesquite dental group in Town east. They accepted me as an emergency case and squeezed me to their busy schedule. I was taken care and Dr Shen really checked what's going on. She prescribed antibiotics and pain meds and I really appreciate the care and treatment that I received here. The next day I was able to sleep and eat a little bit and no pain.

Dr Barbara is super nice, she did my general cleaning and was the best, and Dr Youssif did my fillings and he was patient, and calm, and you can really tell both doctors love their job!! Definitely recommend not only these doctors but this Dental Office!

I, unfortunately, came across this place due to a medical emergency. I was in so much pain that my body was shaking and I couldn't stop sobbing. Thankfully this was the office that had availability to take me asap. I ended up have to have a tooth removed due to an infection. Every single person working in this office was compassionate, kind, and made the process smooth. I feel confident in saying I have found my new dental office.

I haven't had a cleaning in years due to my anxiety and fear of the dentist bc I know I'm gonna need alot of work done. Dr Youssif was my dentist and he explained all the work that I need done to get my teeth back in shape. After discussing all my concerns, he made me feel so much better and my tooth ach went away! The hygienist Jessica did such an awesome job on my deep cleaning, I didn't feel a thing! She made sure that I was calm the entire time and taught me things that I didn't know to help me with taking better care of my teeth. I am so happy with how my teeth came out and look forward to continue my cleanings! Monica has a awesome office team, the assistants and the front desk they were also so nice and very professional! My first dealings with the Mesquite Dental Group and Orthodontics date back to 2015. Over the past seven years I thoroughly enjoyed the service and dental treatment I received from the office staff, technicians and dentists. And for the record I want to send a special note of thanks and the highest praise and respect for Dental Hygienist Rebecca Patterson whose attentiveness, expertise and top-level patient care were always so greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, during my last visit to Mesquite Dental Group and Orthodontics on May 25th, 2022 I had a terribly frustrating experience with the current office manager Monica Torres. It took every ounce of composure and patience to not retaliate and act out of character with her. Her behavior made me feel as if I were under verbal attack. Her body language and the way she talked to me were all so very unprofessional. As well the escalation of the conversation took place in the public waiting room of the office which I also found very inappropriate. As a result, I regret that I can no longer do business or receive dental treatment at this location. Also, as a matter of principle I will not tolerate behavior I find unacceptable and believe my decision to rate this review with a single star and to end the business relationship was justified. Although it has been months since I have reached out to the corporate offices to register my discontent, I have received no response. Moving forward I am publishing my experience via Google reviews for the benefit of anyone seeking dental care at this office location. Word of warning to prospective patients...if you must visit this location, please do everything possible to give the office manager Monica Torres a wide berth. My $0.02
