An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Dr. Erwin is the BEST!!! He fixed the crown on an almost 20 year old implant and made it look brand new. He did what no other doctor would do. He gave me my confident smile back and I couldn't be happier I'm ready to really cut up now

Dr. Huynh is the best dentist ever. I couldnt recommend this place any higher. He makes you feel extremely comfortable and has an extraordinary amount of patience. The staff are extremely courteous and I am completely overwhelmed with the level of care received. I will always come here for dental care.

I came in for a check up and the staff was SOOO nice and the Dentist definitely know what they doing. I had a some root canals done and a teeth pulled out and everything was done so professionally. After my cisit I want back to my normal daily without any soreness or pain. Im really happy with their work.

Be careful who you choose as your dentist. On of the red flags to look out for: - Dentist requires several X-rays instead of asking for previous X-rays The medical guideline says X-rays should be done only if medically necessary and usually only every 1-2 years. The only other reason for a dentist to push for X-rays is because they can charge them to you or your insurance. This dentist asks for 28 X-rays for no medical reason. They seem like they are all about profit even if it compromises your health and costs you much more than necessary.

Scheduled an appointment for this coming Saturday. They called to reschedule told them I needed Saturdays kept giving me days that weren't Saturdays. Then told me Saturdays were pretty full this was my first appointment if they are gonna do it on the first visit now I'm concerned it's going to keep being a problem decided to cancel and go elsewhere. I can't trust places that do this.

I'm not fond of the dentist but this place made my visit more comfortable than I have ever experienced. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on their work. Super clean with all equipment on hand needed to get the job done. I was willing to spend extra time here to make sure my health is taken care of the right way. Thank you to the staff members.

My entire experience was 5 star. Angela was most gentle yet thorough cleaning my teeth. I am over 60 years of age so I am at the point of needing crowns due to normal tooth wear. Dr. Erwin recommended 2 teeth that were ready for crowns. I opted to crown the worst of the two, today. I have been very very tough to get numb, frequently needing multiple injections. However, Dr. Erwin skillfully provided the best oral block I have ever had. 1 Shot. Excellent technique, dosing, and painless! That's really impressive to me since I care for patients myself as an Anesthesiologist. Loren masterly assisted with the crown procedure had everything the Dr. needed, as needed and was attentive in her suctioning technique!, never did I have the feeling as though drowning. Thank you team! couldn't be more pleased with the care you all provided. 6/28/22 JG

5/5 for sure! I was able to easily book an appt online for a next day service. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly when I came into the office. Alisa did my x-rays for me and was really professional but so bubbly! Dr.Erwin did a quick check up and recommended I switch up my daily routine a bit. He was really friendly! And then Angela did my teeth cleaning. She made great conversation! All in all, a wonderful experience! I've already recommended to all my coworkers! Thanks everyone!

If you're looking for a new dentist, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! I've gone to the same dentist my entire life, but they recently closed, so this was my first time going to a new office. Everyone was incredibly kind and answered the numerous questions I had with great detail. They actually take the time to listen to your concerns, explain what they're doing, and clearly lay out what your services will cost. I never expected to learn so much during a routine exam visit. Special shout out to the awesome people who helped me during my visit: Emily, Loren, and Dr. Richard Huynh! Thank you :)

After calling 4 different dentist and getting a run around for a basic extraction. I finally gave them a call and they jumped right on helping me out! They were caring and understanding and got me in for the extraction same day and even worked out a payment plan. 10/10 would recommend to everybody. Love these guys.

I had some emergency work that I needed done. This place was fantastic! The staff is so friendly and they were amazing at helping me with getting the financing to cover my dental work. I had Dr. Eugene Erwin. I have never had a dentist before who made it so comfortable while getting numbed and having such procedures done. I recommend this office to anyone who needs serious dental work. He was quick and efficient. The best part was how he was constantly asking if I was feeling any pain. He knew what kind of work I needed to have done, he knew what I could afford, and he came up with the best planned solution for my dental needs. Thank you so much Mesa Valley Modern Dentistry!

Honestly I'm writing this review for my wife Edith Rodriguez as she is talking. I don't like to go to the dentist but today I went to. Mesa Valley Modern Dentistry and was seen by Dr Chen and her Assistant Lindsay H. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left I felt that I was the only person there because I was treated with the utmost professionalism I have ever had at a dentist office. They took the extra time to explain everything to me and had the patience to keep explaining until the were absolutely sure I understood what they were going to do today. When theY started the procedures they were very tentative to me they kept making sure i was comfortable and was not in any pain as they were working. I have never been treated like I was important to someone at a dentist before, usually it's like a race to get me out of the chair because someone is waiting in the lobby and we're done make sure you pay the lady on the way out type of service. At Mesa Valley Modern Dentistry you won't get treated like your just another patient. I got treated like I was the most important person in the world to them and for that I'm going to continue to tell anyone who will listen.
