A South Dakota native, Dr. Merxbauer grew up in Bath for 8 years, and then moved to Webster where he graduated from high school. He attended USD in Vermillion where he graduated with honorswitha biology majorand a chemistry minor. He then went on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Merxbauer has over 20 years experience as a general dentist and has extensive training including orthodontics. As a general dentist he enjoys and feels confident doing a variety of dental procedures including extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, partials, veneers, tooth whitening, and fillings.Dr. Merxbauer finished his implant education in 2018 and offers implant placements and restorations.

While at dental school Dr. Merxbauer was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon which is the National Dental Honor Society. He received the William Carson Scholarship and the Francis Brown Scholarship. Awards for outstanding achievement in the field of anesthesiology, patient management, and clinical practice programs were presented to him at the honors convocation.

Dr. Merxbauer is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the South Dakota Dental Association, and the International Association for Orthodontics.

When Dr. Merxbauer is not practicing his passion of dentistry he spends most of his time with his beautiful wife, Bonnyand his children. He met his wife, while attending USD and they have been married for over 30 years. They have 5 children, 3 son in laws and 9 grandchildren and another grandchild to arrive in May 2021. He is an avid Huskers fan, hunter, and enjoys most sports!

Dr. Maier was born and raised in Pierre, South Dakota. He spent a lot of time at his family ranch near Winner, South Dakota. The ranch has been in his family for over five generations and he is very proud to say his roots run deep in South Dakota!

Dr. Maier attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology with an emphasis in pre-dentistry; also a member of the Tri-Beta Honors Biology Society. He received his DDS from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, NE. He was the Vice President of his dental class for his junior and senior years.

As a general dentist, he enjoys and feels confident doing a variety of procedures including: cosmetics, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, teeth whitening implants, and fillings.He receives a tremendous amount of satisfaction from treating patients of all ages with a variety of dental needs. His favorite aspect of dentistry is the opportunity to develop long term relationships with many of the great people of Aberdeen.

Dr. Baune graduated with DDS from University of Minnesota. He and his wife have three children. He served the U.S. government for 20+ years as a public health care dentist. He has worked part-timein private practice with Dr. Merxbauer since 2005. Dr. Baune enjoys hunting, fishing, TVbinge watching and spending time with his family.

I work in the business office at Merxbauer-Maier Dental. I graduated magna come laude from the University of South Dakota with a business management degree. I was honored to be chosen as the outstanding business school senior.

Dr. Merxbauer and I have been blessed to be married since 1986. We have five wonderful children, three son in laws, one daughter in law and nine grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping with my daughters, traveling and watching my son play football at CHS.

I am Dr. Merxbauer's daughter and Dr. Maier's wife. I have worked for the Dental Center my whole life. I adore the dental profession! My favorite part is helping patients fall in love with their smile, whilemaintaining their health.

I graduated from Aberdeen Central High, then continued my education and graduated from Augustana University in 2013. I finished myMasters of Business Administration degreefrom Western Governors University in the fall of 2017. You will most commonly see me in the front office or hear me on the phone!

I have two handsome sons and two beautiful daughters. My oldest son, just started Kindergarten at Roncalli. I also have three dogs, a Yorkie, Drahthaar and elderly Beagle.I love summer outdoor activities and baking with my children.

I am a South Dakota native. I have worked in the dental field since 1989! While creating a comfortable environment, I try to go above and beyond the expectations of helping and understanding the patients with all their dental and financial needs. My husband and I have five children and five grandchildren. We enjoy hunting, fishing, volunteering in our community, spending time on the river with our family and our yellow lab, Hub.

I really enjoy working with patients of all ages and do my best to make my patients feel comfortable and relaxed while meeting their individual dental needs. I am licensed to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. I have been working at the Dental Center since May 2006.

I am married to a farmer. We raise cattle and grow crops which include wheat, corn, and soybeans. We have four children, 3 boys and one girl. In my spare time, I enjoy running, volunteering locally, and attending our children's activities.

Hi, I'm Mallory. I graduated in May of 2011 from USD with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I am qualified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia as well as clean teeth, diagnose gum disease, and take radiographs.

My husband and I got married in the fall of 2012. He is an auto mechanic here in Aberdeen. We have two children who keep us on our toes. We enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and attending sporting events.
