For over three decades, Dr. Grant has delivered comprehensive care for lasting oral health. He has a reputation for excellence and is known for creating beautiful smiles. Many dentists in the area use him for their own dental care because they trust his abilities and appreciate his dedication to quality.
After obtaining a BS in chemistry from Allegheny College, Dr. Grant went on to receive his masters of science in pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh, then earned his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force on active duty at Patrick Air Force Base and was selected for a postgraduate program in prosthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Upon entering private practice in Pittsburgh, he continued to serve with the 911th Tactical Air Group for the next five years.
Dr. Grant has amassed over 3,000 hours of continuing education. He completed postgraduate study in dental implants at Harvard University and obtained additional cosmetic dentistry training at Baylor University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Grant is a Pankey Institute Alumnus. He is also a member of several other prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is a founding member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Tyler has lived in Melbourne her whole life. She just recently bought her first home where she lives with her fianc, two cats and is expecting her first child in December! Tyler went to Academy for Dental Assistants where she received her expanded functions and radiology certification. Her favorite part of this job is all of the different people she gets to meet! While Tyler is not working she likes to spend time with family and go shopping!

I have never been to this dentist. I needed an emergency appointment. They got me in dame day. Checked out the issue, gave me a script for antibiotics. Will be coming back to have the tooth pulled. Every from receptionist to the dentist was absolutely amazing. Great vibes. Glad I found them. They will be my dentist office for yrs hopefully.

I now enjoy going to the dentist. My hygienist Candrin is amazing, knowledgeable, gentle and caring. Dr. Grant is the best dentist and cares about his patients. He is gentle and thorough. He doesn't pressure you into services you don't need. I highly recommend him. 09/16/2020- Another great check up at Dr. Merrill Grant's Office. A few new faces but very caring and professional. This office is always very clean and sanitary. I feel very secure having dental work at Dr. Grant's during this questionable time. 03/16/21 - I love going to Dr. Grant's Office for my dental checkups. Another great visit. Today my hygienist was Tammy, she was amazing and very, very gentle and personable. Staff in the office is friendly and caring and that helps make a smooth visit. If you haven't found the right Dentist or are new to the area, I would say to call and make your appointment today. You won't be disappointed. I now love getting my teeth cleaned. 09/21/21- Another awesome visit with Dr. Grant today. I was actually looking forward to the visit. I enjoy talking with my Hygienist Tammy because she is so caring and is very personable. When you visit Dr. Grant the entire staff gets involved. I went in with an aching tooth. I left with 2 aching teeth and am still in pain! The pain has also gone into my ear and neck! I'm not happy with the checkup.

I was so amazed at the friendly staff. It's like I had been going there for years. Instantly I felt like part of their family. I have never been greeted like I was at any office I have been to. I am really looking forward to my next appointment. You guys are the BEST..

Dr. Grant is an excellent Dentist. He is extremely knowledgeable not only in his chosen field, but about almost any subject you wish to discuss with him. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Grant for 16 years. We have never had a problem after having a dental procedure. Dr. Grant is just a pleasure to be around and his sense of humor keeps us laughing and relaxes us at the same time. He has a great staff who are well trained and very helpful. We know, with Dr. Grant and his staff, we are in good hands when we require any kind of dental procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone requiring a great Dentist!!
