Both of my daughters are on the spectrum and this was by far the best experience we have had with a dentist. The nurse and Dr. were very patient with my girls which dad and I appreciated.

Super friendly with a welcoming, clean, and vibrant vibe. They are efficient and sang a song for our 14 month old who was crying during her exam which was so sweet.

She is all about money; she cares less about her patient children! I was deceived too by the high google rating! But please listen to a father who had to watch his kid suffer and cry in pain because of this dentist malpractice! Inexperienced dentist with an attitude and urge to finish to collect money! Our experience in this office included 4 visits- we were uncomfortable in all of them, and so was my child who is still suffering the consequences of the dentist's interventions: silver caps are too tight and tooth was not cleaned properly and later got infected! We were rushed, and she was more interested in selling us the "laughing gas" than listening to our child's problems. Her interventions were based on what is more convenient to her time and profit rather the child's needs! Poor practice of hygiene by both the dentist and her assistants! My child is traumatized of dentists after he visited her office and had teeth treated by her! We had our child teeth treated by this dentist in January 2022 and paid more than $1800 out my pocket in addition to insurance! In May 2022, the tooth got infected because the dentist did not clean it well, she just wanted to finish! It developed a serious infection and created an abscess- we had to take our child to a different dentist as he was traumatized to go back to her clinic! The new dentist cut his abscess open and drained it while my child was crying so hard! He was in so much pain and suffering! We are still not done with it.. he is on antibiotics now and needs and get the tooth extracted! Update June 17th 2022 My son's tooth was pulled out! Two days later the other silver cap fell off. Now we have to get a "space keeper" and treat the other tooth with no cap! All of this cost so much money ( tooth pull out $250 + $550 for space keeper) and all of this because the dentist rushed the tooth in the first place! All of this could have been avoided has the dentist had the slightest sense of humanity! Please do NOT go to her clinic! Save your kids' teeth, your time & money and your children's trust in you and other dentists!

Dr. Ghatak and her assistant were very nice. My child is really afraid of the dentist, but they made sure they explained what they were doing and kept asking if we had any questions. I really appreciate that. I also liked that they have a tv above, so the children can be entertained while getting their teeth cleaned. The receptionist was also very nice, and it was quick and easy to schedule an appointment online.

Fantastic first dental appointment for my three year old daughter. The office is colorful and fun, the staff is very friendly, and the hygienist and dentist kind. There was a TV playing PBS kids in the ceiling above the dental chair, which was just enough distraction for my daughter to keep her happy and calm. We'll be back!

Dr. Ghatak and her staff were all very pleasant to me and my 13 month old son. They took care and played with him while I was filling out paperwork and talking to the dentist. Very patient and friendly. Definitely recommend and will be returning for future appointments.

Bad experience my daughter had a silver plated filings today's and the dentist did not give her enough medicine to numb my child my daughter had to go threw pain. Do not recommend this pediatric office, ontop of that they charged me $100 dollars for laughing gas and they didn't even do the filings on her teeth what a rip off

Really good experience so far. The provider knew how to make the kids feel comfortable which is what I was looking for since it was there first time. The staff is great, everyone is very helpful and super informative. I love how kid friendly it is.

Small and efficiently-run practice in a super convenient location. I appreciated their attentiveness and flexibility in scheduling my large family. Dr. Ghatak and the assistants were wonderful and gentle with the kids!

Dr. Ghatak is a wonderful dentist. We stumble upon her dentistry when our son needed a tooth pulled and stayed with her because she was very caring and gentle with him. She makes a very difficult visit exciting for little ones.

Cannot say enough good things about this office. We went through 3 other dentist offices before finding Merrifield Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone from the reception desk all the way to the dentist are friendly, accommodating, professional, & kind. I wish we had found them years ago. I have 3 children all under the age of 7 and they have all had a positive experience here. One of my children has autism and Fragile X and gets a lot of anxiety at the dentist office. Prior to his visit the staff let me take pictures and bring him in to "say hi". After being able to do this he had great visit and we were actually able to get him to sit through an entire cleaning (which has never happened before). After the cleaning he didn't want to leave (also never happened before). This place does not feel like some of the other "kid dentist factories". Everyone is so personable and they really care about what they are doing. They take their time with you and your child and you won't feel rushed! Cannot highly recommend enough (especially if you have a child special needs)!!!

I just moved from Florida , and i selected this dentist from Google Review , the reviews 5 start really reflect the service, the Office is amassing clean and very comfortable for kids , The doctor so patient can handle really well very young children, has all the equipment to distract the child to be able to clean his teeth as well her stuff are very welcoming and smiling face and easy electronic form to be filled up without making sign so many paper pages , im so satisfy,the doctor young and full of knowledge ,and im glad to find them for my 5 kids treatment and the best part the office location one block from my house

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Merrifield Pediatric Dentistry. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ghatak is pleasant and has excellent bedside manner. She's very knowledgeable and was really gentle with our daughter. Her approach is conservative and she didn't push any kind of treatment on us.
