Merrifield Pediatric Dentistry is a woman owned local small business that started out based on Dr. Ghataks experience as a dentist and mother. Dr. Ghatak has personally lived the challenges that most parents face in providing the best for their children given the limitations of modern life. She understands that each child is unique and likewise each parent has different preferences. This has led to her vision of a pediatric dental practice where every childs treatment is customized to them.
Dr. Ghatak focuses on preventative care and the use of materials and techniques that are not just functional but also therapeutic. She received her Dental Degree (DDS) in 2005 from the VCU School of Dentistry and completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. She is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
