I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed here and the procedure went very smoothly. I had very minimal pain and discomfort after the surgery thankfully. I'm glad I chose Dr Pham and her team for this procedure.

Went in for removal of all 4 of my wisdom teeth (some impacted). Dr. Pham and her team were warm and made me feel at ease about surgery. Overall, it was a very smooth process and they followed up to make sure I was healing correctly. Highly recommend this group

The dental surgeon herself is very nice and pleasant however, the entire process was just a disaster. The receptionist Jacqueline, is not very friendly both on the phone or in person. I spoke with her numerous times and each time she seem to have an attitude with me. On the day of my wisdom tooth extraction a piece of a prior filling came out and no one alerted me or my friend who had brought me (since I was going to sleep for the procedure) of what had happened. It wasn't until after I had woken up from a nap at home about two hours later that I felt something funny and had followed up with my regular dentist to see what had happened. I find it hard to believe they didn't notice when the problem tooth was right next to my wisdom teeth being extracted. Probably about A month or so after the procedure is done I get a notice from my insurance company that I had over paid my co-pay so I called the office to confirm and I was told I'd be called back to which never happened, so I called again and it comes to find out that I did overpay and they said they would mail me a check. While it was only $50 it appeared I was only getting a refund because I called and inquired, had I not because it had already been a month I would've never heard from them again. Because of the fact that I'm already not really a big fan of the dentist I was already apprehensive about getting the procedure done in general, but the lack of communication left me feeling more irritated than pleased with this establishment.

This was the first time that I became fully aware of what was going to happen before going into surgery so I was nervous of everything was going happen. But thanks to Dr.Pham and her team, the process went smoothly from the consultation to the actual day of the surgery. I didn't even realize that they had taken out all 4 of my wisdom teeth after the surgery was over. That's just how good they were. I'll definitely come back here again.

Dr. Pham and all of the staff here were great. I was able to get all of my questions and concerns answered and the procedure itself went well, no complications afterwards. Would definitely come here again.

I appreciate the professionalism and care that I had prior and after my surgery.the team took time to explain to me the procedure and the after care process.Most importantly was the follow up call later in the day to check up on me after the surgery to see how am doing. This is excellent. Keep up the good service.

I got my wisdom teeth extraction few months ago and everything went smoothly. The procedure was easy, fast, and I felt no major pain at all. Everyone there is so friendly, professional, and make sure you understand everything before and after the surgery. After following their careful instruction, everything is healed and I do not have to worry about the wisdom teeth's pain anymore. Highly recommend this place and thank you! -Duyen-

I am currently finishing up recovering from my wisdom teeth removal and my entire experience here has been excellent. Everyone there is very communicative, empathetic, and friendly. I felt like I was in good hands and my recovery has been going smoothly.

100 % positive review: I heartily recommend Merrifield Oral Surgery! They went above and beyond with their services. From Dr. Pham, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Jaqueline, and everyone else in the staff I spoke to and interacted with during the assessment appointment, the oral surgery, and the follow up appointment. I went to Merrifield Oral Surgery after experiencing a terrible experience with another oral surgery group. This other group was uncaring, gave that impression that they were always in a rush, and its doctor(s) did not seem to be interested in my dental health or my questions. This other group's communication was horrible when it came to money and the insurance aspect. When I contacted and arrived at Merrifield Oral Surgery, I was afraid I was going to be treated the same way, but they immediately made me feel comfortable. They know that customer service satisfaction is what keep their business going. Each one of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel I was in the right place. They were caring, attentive, and showed appreciation for my time. Dr. Pham actually did spend time explaining to me what the oral surgery was going to be like and answered all my questions thoroughly. She did not rush neither did I feel I was wasting her time. She cared for my health and sympathized with me -- the patient. Additionally, they were very understanding about my concerns with the insurance aspect and money. They did not hide any fees from me and were straight forward about what it was going to be. They restored my confidence in oral surgeons and the surgery. I left the office with a sensation of peace that they would take care of me well during the oral surgery. And they did it! They did take care of me very well during the oral surgery. I am pleased with my experience. As I have back issues, I was concerned I was going to have a difficult time during the tooth extraction. But Dr. Pham sent a prescription to assist me during this procedure. With assistance of a friend, I got to the office on the day of the procedure, and I felt nothing during the oral surgery. It was painless. Granted, I was out, and my ride said I was very "funny." I am not sure how they were able to handle me, but many thanks! During my follow up visit, I apologized if I said anything that was out of context. Dr. Pham said I was okay and that they are used to that. With that being said, I realized how well prepared they are to deal with patients during these scenarios as well as how they were already expecting me. To quote my friend who accompanied me, "Everyone was very nice. A nurse helped me walk you out to my car." I would like to add that since I was incapacitated to make my part of the payment for the surgery, they were not calling me to ask me for money day after day. On the contrary, they waited until my follow up visit. I did not feel even rushed for this aspect. I remember they called me hours later after my surgery to make sure I was doing well. I somehow remember asking them about my payment portion and the lady I spoke to said, "don't worry, you can pay us when you come back for your follow up appointment next week." The trust and confidence they granted me is undoubtedly a great quality of an excellent customer service. I cannot express how satisfied I am for using their services. Above and Beyond Patient Healthcare and Customer Service. I will definitely return to them should any life situation happen to me. Thank you, Merrifield Oral Surgery! I am very glad you worked with each aspect of my situation.

Great experience, from the moment you enter the office to the days following the procedure. Dr Pham is excellent, she explained every step of the procedure and answered to all my questions and concerns. Marketa, the dental assistance, was there for me before and after the surgery and helped me when I called with questions days later. I highly recommend Merrifield Oral Surgery!

I've removed 2 of my wisdom teeth at Merrifield Oral Surgery and I had a very smooth and favorable experience! Everybody including Dr. Pham, and all the staff (Marketa, Karolina, Stephanie, and Jaqueline) were so friendly, experienced and competent. So, highly recommend here!

Writing this review the night following my appointment(~14 hours after) -------------------------------- Short Review: This office and the staff is fantastic and I wish they were my regular dental team. Four wisdom teeth removed in 15 minutes by Dr. Pham and her team. As of now I still have zero pain or complications post-op. --------------------------------- Long Review: I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Pham and her team (Marketa, Karolina & Cathy). This was my first time undergoing any form of surgery and my first time receiving general anesthesia, so I naturally came in a bit nervous. Before entering the office, my outlook was already extremely positive. Stephanie, the concierge, was very friendly throughout the appointment process and even called me a few days before my appointment to resolve an issue with my insurance. She also answered any questions I had regarding the operation over the phone to ensure I wasn't confused on anything. On surgery day, I entered the office and the interior was very clean and visually aesthetic. I was checked in by Stephanie and was then shortly taken to the back by Marketa, the main tech that took care of me while Dr. Pham was preparing for the procedure. I signed up for same-day consultation + surgery. Dr. Pham was very cool and I could tell she had a lot of experience based on the way she carried herself while answering any questions I had. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and the entire operation apparently only took 15 minutes, which is insanely fast. Reversing the anesthesia took longer than the actual operation. I asked for my teeth as a souvenir and they looked extremely clean which probably is a byproduct of how well Dr. Pham performed the operation. The only sad part is that they didn't have any cool boxes to hold the teeth and I just got a Ziploc baggie :( The team was really kind and helpful. They even answered the barrage of questions I had after the operation while drowzy even though they knew I wasn't going to remember a single part of the conversation (I didn't , my mom told me this part later). All I actually remembered after waking up was standing up from the dental chair and getting escorted to my car. Marketa also sent any prescriptions required to our preferred pharmacist, which saved us some time. A member from the team called me a few hours later just to check in on me, encouraged me to ask any additional questions, and walked me through the recovery steps once more before the weekend. Overall, I'm really glad I picked this office off of Google. I really wish this team practiced general dentistry as well because I've never been this enthusiastic about a dental visit before. I got a nice thank you card signed by the team who took care of me which was also really cool. Hopefully I won't ever require surgery again but if Dr. Pham does the operation I'll for sure come back!
