Very unprofessional! Traumatized my son... went in for wisdom teeth extractions... he's a minor and I was kicked out of the room prior to them putting him to sleep which I thought was a bit weird!! They called me in 25 minutes later and he was in a room by himself hysterical crying The nurses said "It was the anesthesia" but when I finally calmed my son down... he grabbed my phone and went into my notes.... apparently they tried each arm for a vein and had no success... mind you he just had routine blood work done last week with no issues... then proceeded to poke and pry in his forearm UNHEARD OF!! He said "oh shoot...that hurt!" 3 of them than held him down which scared him beyond words!!! This place is an absolute no! Even have a separate exit for surgery patients... because they don't want you to see the TRAUMA THEY PUT THESE PEOPLE THROUGH!! DO NOT GO HERE... they're great on the consult... BUT INEXPERIENCED BUTCHERS THERE AFTER!! HORRIBLE

The only reason I even called this palace was because my primary dentist referred me, customer service was terrible. The receptionist didn't even say hello before placing me on hold for over 5 minutes and when I was attended to I was told I couldn't get an appointment for two months even after I explained this was an emergency situation. Will gladly be looking for another Dr to see

Dr. John Soh is incredible! He explains the processes well and is a highly talented oral surgeon. The entire extraction process was over within 20 minutes- most of that time was waiting for my gums to react to the numbing agent. Dr. Soh removed the tooth precisely and quickly. I was given instructions, and my medication was ready to be picked up when I got home. Getting a tooth extracted is never fun, but Dr. Soh made the process as easy as possible.

I had a wonderful experience at this office with Dr. d'Abundo. He is a kind, patient man who makes sure your comfortable at all times. He explained everything he was doing and made it so I had the most minimal amount of pain possible. I would recommend anyone who asks to absolutely go to this office. Starting from the front desk to the technicians, everyone was extremely nice. A+ Dr. A'bundo

People are really quick to put a bad review but when everything goes right and the people are nice and polite they never write anything, this place is actually really good and the doctor is very gentle the nurse that is helping him is very helpful, I just wanna say thank you for treating me good and you guys are amazing!

GREAT OFFICE!! THE ORAL SURGEON I SAW WAS AMAZING!! I WENT IN JUST FOR A CONSULTATION AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD IN REGARDS TO DENTAL WORK. I HAVE HORRIBLE DENTAL ANXIETY AND THE DOCTOR MADE ME FEEL SO COMFORTABLE. HE WAS SUPER GENTLE, WHEN HE EXAMINED ME BECAUSE MY MOLAR WAS STILL PAINFUL WHEN HANDLED. THE YOUNG LADY WHO TOOK MY PANORAMIC X-RAYS WAS ALSO EXTREMELY GENTLE. ALTHOUGH THE WAITING ROOM WAS SUPER FULL, THEY STILL PRACTICED SOCIAL DISTANCING. THE OFFICE WAS SUPER CLEAN AND GREAT. EVEN WITH A FULL WAITING ROOM, I WAS SEEN RATHER QUICKLY. THE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONISTS WERE SUPER SWEET AND PROFESSIONAL. AFTER I SAW THE DOCTOR, THE EXITING RECEPTIONIST WAS ALSO VERY NICE AND POLITE ASWELL. SHE MADE SURE TO EXPLAIN MY PREOP INSTRUCTIONS, SO I WOUKD KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY NEXT VISIT, FOR MY PROCEDURE. THEY ARE BOOKED SOLID FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS BUT THE DOCTOR TOLD ME, IF I HAD ANY ISSUES BETWEEN NOW AND THEN TO FEEL FREE TO CALL THE OFFICE. THE EXITING RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME, SHE WOULD ADD MY NAME ON A WAITING LIST, IN THE EVENT THERE IS A CANCELLATION. I HAD SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE. IM SURE YOU WOULD NOT HAVE ANY REGRETS. I WILL WRITE ANOTHER REVIEW ON MY EXPERIENCE, AFTER I HAVE MY PROCEDURE. IM PRETTY SURE THAT IT WILL BE A GREAT ONE ASWELL. This place has horrible communication skills. I called in for an emergency appt because I had wisdom tooth pain. They told me to come in the next day and failed to tell me this was just a " consultation " the extraction isn't until almost 2 months later. Why would I want a consultation and wait two months if I'm in pain NOW... I even confirmed with the person I made the appt with that this is for an extraction. Oh well. I went to Dr.Gish 260 middle country rd selden. He saw me on a Saturday and the process was the best. No long wait and friendly front desk staff.

This people only care about their rules. My mother is in severe pain from loose teeth. When I had set up appointment with the doctor I told the secretary that my mother need urgent treatment. Dr. D'Abundo only saw my mother, he left the room doing nothing, telling us to come for next appointment. Before I could understand the situation , he left the room. I wanted to talk to the doctor again to request for the treatment right away. The office secretary came forward and told us we can't talk to the doctor. If there is any cancelation she will let us know. Front desk people said next available appointment is in December after one month. My question is if you do only consultation in first vist why you didn't tell that when called for appointment. You wasted our time. You caused my mother to suffer more days in pain. I would say these people are not human. Only care about their business and money. Have no empathy or kindness towards their patients. I hope the manger who prevented us from talking to the doctor, get similar treatment one day. This lady saw my mother sitting in severe pain, spoke her. Her heart still didn't melt. Before leaving we went to the front desk. Encountered rude behavior also there. Two days have passed after visiting their office . No phone call for any cancellation appointment, no apology for anything.

Two stars because although the oral surgeons are great and really thorough, the receptionists are incredibly rude. Front desk (it's always the same girls) are just plain mean. I thought maybe it was me just thinking that but the comments here says it all. I went to the office twice and their nasty attitudes made me not want to come to this office. I don't know how they can hire people like that. If you're working in healthcare kindness goes a long way. So if you don't really care about waiting over an hour with rude front desk workers and you just want to get your teeth extracted, id recommend it.

Having major dental work done during these Covid times is not ideal and this office made it seamless. No chit chatting bs , the dental tech ladies are efficient and polite , they get you in and out in a timely manner.

I did see a lot of negative comments regarding the staff but this was the only place I could get an appointment for at the time regarding my wisdom teeth. I would say there were a lot of females working but I didn't feel any negative energy. They were very nice and professional. The only person acting up was actually a patient but I would say I had a very good experience. The doctor was also very nice, professional and knowledgeable! Also, I had the option of filling out paper work on line. That took 5 minutes, and when I got the the office I was seen within 7 mins.

I went to this office for the first time to have a tooth extracted. My original appointment was the end of the month. I was in excruciating pain and called them up and they scheduled me for an emergency visit. Dr Riviera was caring and very friendly. I was numbed, tooth was extracted and did not feel a thing. I would definitely go back and make sure I see Dr Riviera!

if you have a problem with this staff then it MUST be you, i have had so many negative encounters with dentists and oral surgeons all across long island but this place does it right. first off i am a baby with white coat syndrome. i told the staff when i came in and they sat and talked with me which made me so comfortable. i wish i caught the surgeons name because he was amazing. no pain at all 123 gone. he was a younger asian man that assured me i would be okay. i saw a review saying how they made a person wait and come back. they did this with me too and i was on antibiotics prior but the infection was bad still so he suggested letting the antibiotics work for a week or two longer. i think that's why it wasn't painful, if he just pulled it then i would have been dieing. i also saw another review about the front desk gossiping in spanish but that's just insane, who cares what language they're using and what they're talking about. idk i guess people need to work on themselves before writing negative reviews on establishments. i rate this place 10 outta 5.
