Hi! My name is Traci and I am the insurance coordinator here at Merola Family Dentistry. I started in the dental field over 10 years ago and I have worn many different hats and have experience in each area from assisting to office management. Im one of the newest members of the team and I look forward to many years to come! Insurance can be tricky and often hard to understand, and I take pride in helping patients decipher their insurance and helping them maximize those benefits. When Im not in the office I enjoy spending time boating or snowmobiling with my wonderful husband Jeremy and my two beautiful children Kylie and Asher.
My name is Morgan and I am a Dental Assistant here at Merola Family Dentistry. I graduated from Dental Assistant school of Syracuse in 2016, and joined our team in 2017. Within two years of assisting experience I learned techniques in general chair-side assisting including CEREC same day crowns, cosmetic smiles design, implant placement, impressions, and becoming an expert for teeth whitening. I love quality patient care and motivates me to continue to learn and improve myself. Outside of the office I love spending time with my family and friends and spoiling her chocolate labs Odin and Trapper.

I feel accomplished when I am able to make good experiences for patients who have a history of negative experiences with dental care. I place a large value on patient care and the development of a wholesome clinician patient relationship. When I am not working, I am the mama of an active, huge hearted boy named Jaden and a sassy, very loving girl named Cora. Somewhere in the crazy life we live, my husband Josh and I enjoy going to the gym, working on projects around the house and going anywhere, for any length of time, just to be together.
Hello, my name is Mindy and I am a registered dental hygienist here at Merolas Family Dentistry. I am a recent graduate of SUNY Broome CC with a degree in dental hygiene. Prior to dental hygiene I worked as a dental hygiene assistant for four years. My goal as a hygienist is to make all my patients comfortable in the dental chair and provide them with high standard of care. Outside of dentistry I am looking forward to becoming a new mom to a little girl at the end of January!
Hello, my name is Adrianna and I recently graduated from the dental assisting program from OCM Boces in February of 2019. I started at Merola Family Dentistry in April with this office being my first assisting job. Ive learned so much while working chair-side with Dr. Merola. Since starting at the office Id say one of my professional accomplishments is turning a patients once negative fear at the dentist into a positive one with our welcoming environment! When Im not assisting, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and our two beautiful daughters. I also enjoy my time shopping and taking our dogs on hikes with us.

Awful office staff. They could not possibly care less about the patients. They seem to enjoy finding ways to use their policies to Lord over you. Do not waste your time or money!

Has really gone downhill. I had a few fillings done, went in 4 times because they could not solve the pain from the initial fillings. I was charged for 3/4 of the visits. This was about 4 months ago, and I still cannot chew on the left side of tolerate anything cold. Dr. Yates was my dentist. Do not recommend at all.

Very pleased with how thorough my exam and cleaning was handled. Everyone from receptionist, hygienist ,to DR. Merola are friendly and professional. I know I'm in great hands with there team. Also, there always asking if I'm comfortable, and very good with us older folks. Thank you again, Michael.

Dr. Merola is always there when something would go wrong with my front tooth. He's trying to figure out what he can do to change my situation . The staff is very good too. Dr. Merola is very knowledgable. He's on his way in fixing my front tooth. In three weeks, I will find out about my new bridge work.

Great place, timely, friendly, clean, professional. Never feel rushed. Although they aren't a preferred provider for my insurance - they handle all of the billing and my reimbursement rate has been the same. Highly recommend.

It's always a great experience dealing both with the staff and Dr. Merola! Whether it's a routine cleaning or something comes up everyone is so accommodating and friendly. My family have been patients for a few years now and have nothing but positive experiences with everyone.

I had my 6 month cleaning today. My regular hygienist was out on maternity leave. The young lady who performed my cleaning today was amazingly thorough and did a wonderful job. I have to say that all my care at Merola has been excellent and that I have the utmost confidence in the professionalism and quality of care I have always received there

I am very happy with my experience with Dr Merola. I had to have an implant and it went very well. I was nervous but he is so gentle and I had no pain at all. I certainly highly recommend Dr Merola and his wonderful staff. Rosanne

Dr. Merola is obviously passionate about dentistry and giving his patients the most honest assessment and treatment options. His staff are friendly and accommodating. As good as it gets in the area. 4 stars only on account of some long wait times during procedures and unexpected billing but hardly a deterrent. Overall great practice.

Can't thank Dr. Merola and his staff enough. He came highly recommended and it's easy to see why. He listened to and addressed all of my concerns, and thoroughly explained my options going forward. Usually trips to the dentist are not something to look forward to, but they made me feel extremely comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Love this practice!!! Dr Merola is the best and takes the time to listen to me and my concerns about my dental health as I get older and my needs change and so does my insurance coverage. The hygienist are always gentle and you will always get a great and thorough cleaning. I love the fact too that if you have an emergency they will actually call you back and take care of you!!! Highly recommend Dr Merola to everyone in the area!!!

Wow what an experience! Everyone was so pleasant and kind. And Zeneida is an angel! So patient and understanding. I have been putting off visiting a dentist office for past experiences but everyone was so lovely and kind. If I could give it over a 5 star rating definitely would.
