Dentistry has been a wonderful profession for me. I love being a dentist! As a sophomore in high school, I broke a tooth on the weekend playing basketball. When I found a dentist that could help me on that Saturday, I decided that was the type of service I would like to provide, and so here I am.

It is rewarding to educate and care for people in their desire to be healthy and help them achieve the smile they have always wanted. Together we work to create a beautiful and healthy smile that will last a lifetime!

I received my bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of Washington and graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Continuing my education is important to me, so I have completed a series of restorative courses from Spear Education at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, as well as annually attending the Pacific Northwest Dental Conferenceand taking specific coursework to expand my skills. With this additional training and education, I can provide complex comprehensive care in my office where our patients feel comfortable staying in their dental home:Meridian Dental Clinic.

Patients are why we are here. Our team is dedicated to excellence and providing the best possible care for our patients in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Many patients over the years have told us they were afraid of the dentist until they came to our office.

Trust can only happen with a staff that explains everything to the patients and takes time to answer questions, to builda relationship based on respect and honesty. Eachpatient is an individual with specificneeds and desires. I love working together withpatients to meet their goals and objectives for their oral health. It is also fun and interesting to learn about all the different things they are doing in their lives.

I was born in Oregon and spent my elementary years growing up in Montana until my family moved to Kent in 1967. I have lived in the Puget Sound area ever since. I have been married to my wife for the last 39 years and have two grown sons and now one young grandson. We havetwo dogs:Shadow, a Gordon setter, and a new Golden Retriever,Champ, who add a lot of joy to our lives.

When I can get away from the office, I enjoy fly fishing, snow skiing, golf, and rooting for the Huskies at UW football and basketball games and for the Loggers of Puget Sound. I also continue to be involved in my church and organized dentistry.

I am passionate about giving back to the community using my time, talents, and resources. Ive been going to Haiti since 2008 to provide dental care for the Haitian people in remote areas through Medical Relief International. I have also volunteeredannually at the dental clinic held at Seattle Center. Ive been involved with the Washington Oral Health Foundation and their effort to bring dental care at one of the Boys and Girls Clubs in Seattle.

I love helping each patient develop a beautiful smile and healthy mouth. I truly care about each as a person and love how, through orthodontics and comprehensive dentistry, I can improve their lives. I particularly enjoy working with patients who experiencedental anxiety and helping them overcome their fears. Initially we may use sedation, butover time the patient learns that no one will hurt them and they cease to fearvisits.

I love working with children and adults of all ages andfrom so many backgrounds. Its enjoyable to learn about their interests and what theyve done; our conversations create a bond and helpestablish trust. Its important my patients understand Im here to help them: I want them to achieve their healthiest, happiest smile and that starts with trust and communication.

Ive been practicing for more than 20 years and cannot imagine a more rewarding profession. As a dentist, I can alleviate pain, restore function, and help a person smile with confidence. I do all thiswhile building wonderful, lasting relationships!

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery was awarded by the University of Washington Dental School. Since graduation, I have completed many continuing education courses. I have received my Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry, in recognition of the more than 2,000 hours of course work in all areas of dentistry I have completed beyonddental school.

I have extensive training in sedation dentistry, Invisalign, and full orthodontic cases. I have also completed more than three years of orthodontic training and extensive experience in oral surgery. In addition, I am the Continuing Education Coordinator for the State of Washington and complete 50 to100 hours each year.

I grew up in a military family and moved about the country for 17 years.I graduated from Clairemont High School in San Diego. For the last 40 years Ive lived in Federal Way. Before attending dental school I taught junior high and high school in Auburn for 14 years.

Im happy to spend my days practicing dentistry with my husband,Dr. Bryan Edgar. We have a son, David, who is a 737 pilot for Alaska Airlines. He and his wifeJudyhave two beautiful daughters, Tatum and Annalise. Our family is rounded out by our two Golden Retrievers, Kona and Charlie.

My passion for dentistry starts with each patient: I tailor treatment to a persons specific concerns, and focuson long-lasting results and beautiful smiles. Every patient deserves to be a full participant in his or hercare. Its essential that the personunderstands whats happening in the mouth, how it affects thebody, and whatcan be done to improve the situation. Rather than dictating a particular approach, I work withpatients to find and develop a plan that works for them. I want them engaged and knowledgeable!

Ive been practicing dentistry for more than 40 years. I chose the profession becauseit allows me to combine science, technology, and art. It also allows me to spend time with people and build lasting relationships based on respect and open communication.

Working with a diverse communityand caring for people of all ageskeeps my days interesting. I enjoy learning about a persons life and experiences, sharing stories of my own, and laughing with everyone. No two patients are the same, and no two procedures are the same; my days are filled with challenges and opportunities to help others.

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery was awarded by the University of Washington. I completed a general dentistry residency at Irwin Army Hospital and performed full-time oral surgery in the US Army for three years. For 31 years I served as a dentist in the US Army Reserve, retiring with the rank of Colonel.

I am committed to remaining uptodate on advances in dentistry. The comprehensive skills I gain help me to treat more complex problems. After graduating from the residency program, my goal was proficiency in all areas of dentistry in order to meet all of my patients needs fully.

I moved to the US from Canada when I was in grade school and graduated from Port Angeles High School. Federal Way has been home for almost 40 years. Im proud to practice with my wife, Dr. Linda Edgar.

I enjoy being able to help others achieve the health and smile theyve always wanted, whether through preventive care or by alleviating pain. Restoring function, aesthetics, and confidence with the help of dentistry brings me a lot of joy.

The doctors, staff, and I at Meridian Dental Clinic share a treatment philosophy of patient-first care, ensuring that patients are happy and satisfied with their treatment. We build relationships with patients based on trust, respect, and honesty to reach their oral health goals.

Dentistry is constantly changing with innovative technology, techniques, and materials. Continuing education is important to stay up to date with the innovative advances to the dental field. I like to provide the best treatment options for comprehensive care so patients enjoy their dental home.

Most recently, I completed CE with Invisalign, and plan on taking courses through Washington State Dental Association Academy, Western Society of Periodontology, University of Washington, Pacific Northwest Dental Conference, Oregon Dental Conference, and Spear Education.

I was born and raised in Federal Way. After eight years away for college and dental school, I moved back to the area with my English bull terrier. She loves going on hikes, sun bathing, playing with other dogs, and wading in water.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, skiing, mountaineering, camping, running, traveling, and riding horses. I enjoy watching movies and spending time in Seattle at sports games or trying different restaurants. I'm a big fan of the Mariners and Seahawks!

I am passionate about giving back to the community where I grew up. I have volunteered at Medical Teams International (MTI) dental vans, Mission of Mercy, and Compassion Clinics in Oregon and Washington. I am also involved with church and organized dentistry. I appreciated the mentoring I received when I grew up around here, and want to make sure that others have the same opportunity.

I have had the best experience with Meridian Dental, as my family and I have been coming here for years. I have had some major dental work here, and Dr Walker always helps me feel comfortable and in good hands. They have been communicative and helpful along every step of my health care journey, putting stress at ease. Everyone who works here shows so much kindness, especially Adria and Gretchen whom has been helping keep my family smiling since day one! I appreciate everyone who works here, thank you

I had a chipped tooth and hadn't been to the dentist in 4 years. I was able to not only get X-rays and find out what I needed to get done but Dr. Pablo was able to fix my tooth the same day. Excellent service!

So, I was nervous, walking in for my cleaning appointment. The ladies at the front office were really friendly, helpful and all smiles... washed my nervousness away. Fast word, the cleaning... the hygienist was was a Pro at it. Calmed me down and talked to me through out the procedure... Fast forward again... the check out, my gums were sore, couldnt feel the right side of my mouth... anesthesia effects.. anyway, if you are reading this and looking for a dental clinic... Stop! And head over to Meridian Dental clinic. Thank me later.

Sooo this is a fun one. After 9 years of not seeing a dentist I got health care finally and went back. 1st visit they want to take x-rays, photos, and dig around bit only they were super behind so I sat for 45 minutes before getting sent home and asked to come back to finish that first appointment 11 days later. I'm fairly patient, so no problem really and I understand set backs during a work day. Turns out I have no cavities even after such a long time. Then I booked an appointment for a deep consultation of that first appointment(s) for 3 months later. They show me a video of what they are going to do and the dentists asks to show me their new filling replacements and tells me I have a few cavities. I say, "that's weird, 3 months ago you said I had no cavities" to which they pull up a picture of somebody else's teeth next to photos of mine! And I suspect it was that same persons metal filings they were showing me as well as I do not have metal fillings. 2 stars instead of 1 because while getting numbed it was the first time it didn't hurt. The hygienist was very gentle and did a great job! I would not have left a review, but I got a text and email asking me to. We we'll see how my next appointment at the end of the month goes.
