Originally from India, Dr. Chimmiri came to the U.S. in 2000 to study dentistry, and in 2004 he graduated from New York University with his D.D.S. He joined our Meriden team in 2014 with seven years as a Connecticut dentist already behind him. He is a fellow with the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Hes also a member of the:
In 2014, Dr. Chimmiri was chosen as one of the states top dentists by Connecticut Magazine. He is experienced in providing care with Invisalign, oral conscious sedation, general dentistry, and he is committed to helping patients in need by showing them how comfortable 21st century care can be. He loves seeing new and returning patients and talking to them about their latest travels or sports.
Dr. Chimmiris interests include traveling, visiting national parks, and listening to NPR. Hes been married since 2004, and together, he and his wife have a young son who keeps them on their toes every day.
Dr. Divya Anugu is a graduate of Boston University, Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she earned her DMD Prior to attending Boston University, Dr. Anugu earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery form Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery in Hyderabad, India.
Dr. Anugu provides her patients with high-quality, comprehensive dental care to meet all oral health needs. Dr. Anugu is a strong believer in preventative dentistry, and works with her patients to educate them on the importance of consistent, effective oral care.

The front desk staff makes you feel right at home, they are very knowledgeable about insurance and coverage. My hygienist Janice is amazing. Everyone is professional, courteous, and friendly. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave you will feel at ease.

Dr. Chimmiri is really gentle. My PTSD from bad experiences when I was a child going to horrible dentists is slowly going away because of this professional. I will continue to go here and finally get my teeth to where I want them to be. Thank you to all staff.

I had a consultation for implants and Sara Lee (sp) was professional, informative and very nice. The office was to me, extraordinary with tech equipment that makes inviting to me, especially as a fearful dental person. Dr Chimmiri (sp) took the time to explain the procedure and if it was actually a probable procedure. The front desk people was also, friendly, kind and professional. For a first visit, I was very impressed.

I came upon this office after looking at all the good reviews I did not see the ones with shared experiences.. First off the staff is beyond wonderful. The Dentist anuga and the owner don't even want to write his name..were the most rude, rough and don't have a clue on dentures. Had me come in just to not have the work not sent to the lab.. then tells me I'm difficult because I refuse to have a my dentures looking like I'm about to play football and the teeth were so huge, a dinosaur tooth was no match and it fell out of the wax almost causing me to choke. I want every penny back me. They dropped me after I stated how unpleasant,and rude I thought of them to wait so long after a botched job to them tell me I need surgery??? Didn't you take x-rays that would have determined before proceeding to next level?? Contacted my insurance who is in process of investigating my grievances and complaints .
