Dr. Suzanne R. Mericle grew up in the Golden Isles, and has been practicing dentistry for over 29 years. After graduating from Brunswick High School, Dr. Mericle went on to attend the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She then attended dental school at The Medical College of Georgia and graduated with honors. She opened her practice in 1991 in Brunswick, and then built her current practice on Saint Simons Island in 1994. She and her team are dedicated to providing excellent oral and health care, as well as maintaining and improving their clinical skills, by attending various continuing education classes throughout the year.
In addition to her role as your dentist, Dr. Mericle also is an instructor for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics where she teaches dentists and doctors on the subjects of Dental Sleep Medicine, TMJ Therapy and Facial Esthetics. Dr. Mericle is also a lecturer for Glidewell Dental where she lectures on Sleep Dentistry. Dr. Mericle has published several articles and is a member of numerous reputable professional organizations. She maintains professional memberships in the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is also a Diplomate with American Sleep and Breathing Academy and a Qualifying Dentist with the AADSM.

I was born in Brunswick, Georgia, and have a beautiful daughter named Miah. I started working with Dr. Mericle in November of 2018. I attended Concord Career Institute in 2017 and became a registered Dental Assistant. I love working alongside this amazing team and being able to get patients in to achieve their dream smile.
Im Ciera I graduated from Coastal Technical Pines in 2015. Im a mama to two handsome boys, Paxtan & Tucker. When Im not working I enjoy spending time with my family or friends. I am proud to be apart of Dr. Mericles Team. Her passion shows in all of her work and she is always ready to help her sleep and dental patients.
I am from Brunswick, GA and graduated from Brunswick High school in 2014. I have been in the Dental field since 2017. When I'm not at work I spend most of my time with my fur baby Ellie. I love working with Dr. Mericle and our team being able to see amazing smiles and transformations every day.
I began working with Dr. Mericle in August of 2019 after graduating from Southeastern Technical College with my Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. When Im not working I enjoy painting, cooking and living every day the best way possible. Even though Ive only been with Dr. Mericle for a short amount of time I have been able to experience how great this practice is. I cant wait to continue this great career while providing the best care possible for our patients.
I'm a native from Savannah, Ga and I moved to the Golden Isles in 2012. I graduated from Coastal Pines Technical College with an Associates' Degree in Business Management. I've been working for Dr. Mericle for almost a year and in the short amount of time that I have been here, I have really enjoyed being a part of Mericle Dentistry. When I am not working I enjoy going to the movies as well as spending time with my friends and socializing.
I am from Brunswick, Georgia, and have always gone by Emmie. I graduated from Glynn Academy in 2015 and have a wonderful twin sister, Jessica. If I am not working Im spending my time with my family, playing with my four-legged Princess Nova, laying on the beach and playing soccer.
My favorite thing about working with Dr. Mericle and our team is having the opportunity to help with all of the amazing smiles that walk in and out of our doors. I look forward to providing all the help I can to our patients and learning more along the way. Im very lucky to call this my work family!

Dr. Mericle and her entire staff are very kind, caring and efficient. Dr. Mericle always explains the treatment and the team is always prepared and educated on all of the treatment plans.

Horrible experience. My wife has asked me not to return and what I did went back like a fool. Went for only a small irritation between teeth of the gum, and now I walk out not only is my gums still inflamed but now my teeth is exposed, and I need a root canal

I woke up yesterday with an infected tooth. I drove to Dr. Mericle's office and was seen within 15 minutes! The office staff went the extra mile to ensure I was scheduled to see an oral surgeon ASAP. The prescribed medication has significantly reduced the inflammation and pain.

What a pleasant surprise today. The experience today brought back my faith in great and "fun" dentistry. Maybe the "no cavity report helped" but from beginning (including X-rays) to the final cleaning - I truly appreciated today's first visit . A great staff - - and a great dentist added to today's experience.

Great experience!! Staff is VERY FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL. I am a regular patient---going at least twice/yr for cleaning and maintenance. If there is potential problem area, it is addressed immediately and payment plans can be easily arranged if or when necessary. Due to chemo-therapy several years ago, Dr. Mericle worked closely w/my Oncologist to monitor my teeth and gums as the chemicals can affect teeth and gum health. I always feel that I have the best Dental attention and care w/Dr.Mericle and her staff.

I've only had my first appointment, but it was hands down the best experience I've had at a dental office. The staff was professional and caring as well as knowledgeable. The dentist has been in practice 20-30 years and knows her stuff. It showed that she cares about her staff and patients. For those who are terrified or triggered by going to the dentist, give this office a try.

I was very impressed with every aspect of my visit. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Dental Hygienist was great and she explained the areas of treatment. Dr. Mericle spent a lot of time with me and developed a very specific treatment plan. She has a very broad area of expertise and her compassion was genuine. 5 stars is not enough!

My husband and I always enjoy our experience at Dr. Mericle's office. The staff is very pleasant and easy to talk to. Although our appointments are about 6 months apart, it is nice that the staff and the doctor alike remember who we are and the non office related topics we discussed at our prior visit. Michael and I are very fond of Dr. Mericle, she is an absolute sweetheart!
