My mission is to provide the best dental care possible and to do so with genuine enthusiasm, passion, and commitment to quality. Its my goal to create meaningful relationships with our patients and inspire them to maintain a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles.
Using her extensive training as a member of American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Fritz is able to use botulinum toxin to help patients with issues such as chronic migraines, TMD, and of course helping them achieve beautiful smiles.
While she was born in Wisconsin, Jacksonville has been Dr. Fritzs home for more than 10 years. Outside the office, you will find Dr. Fritz spending quality time with family and friends. She is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys playing tennis! Volunteering in the community is another passion. During her free time, she volunteers with the Florida Mission of Mercy and supports the local arts.

I love this place! Each visit I've had here has been absolutely amazing. From the receptionist to the hygienist and even the doctor (Alexa Fritz), everyone here conducts themselves in a professional and friendly manner. They explain everything they're doing and allow time for you to ask questions. This is the first Dentistry that I've been to in 15 years that I didn't leave the office in pain no matter which service I received. The anesthesia is given with care, and services are provided as gently as they possibly can. If you need dental work and you live on the Westside, and in the Argyle/Oakleaf area visit Merchants Way Dental Care.

Excellent customer service from staff and doctor. I personally enjoyed the company of Ms Chelsea Phillips she was kind, friendly and made me laugh . All in all enjoyed the experience and look forward to future dental visits. 10/10

The staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient with your needs. Today I joked "I can't feel my face when I'm with you, but I love it.", but I do love the servious and attention I receive from this dental office.

Teeth have never hurt so bad as they have with the cleaning I got here. On top of that for an annual appt, they charged my insurance AND I had to pay $125 out of pocket. Unsure why the reviews are so high.

I was called Mon or Tues (26/27 Sept) to confirm my appt for Thurs Sept 29 at 11:10 am. I asked about office closure due to hurricane and was assured if the office was to be closed I would receive and email and/or phone call. Thurs came and I had not received either a call or email. While checking my email that morning, I received an email at 1030 am reminding me of my 1110 am appointment . Got dressed and drove to office only to find the doors locked and the lights off. Businesses around them were open and the answering service said they were unable to access the computers in the office. The weather was cloudy with light sprinkles and wind. I do not have a problem with them closing the office for the safety of their employees--that is what they should have done-but to not notify me and to auto send me the email cost me gas, 4 tolls, and time. if it had not been for the 1030 email I would have called the office before I made the trip. I am giving them 2 stars because they were looking out for their employees

I called to be seen for a toothache as a new patient, and was pleasantly surprised when they were able to get me in same day. The office was inviting and clean. The staff was extremely friendly from front desk, to Mona the assistant, and the doctor as well. They were thorough with asking questions and ensuring I understood everything that was causing the pain and what I need to do for treatment. When doing my check out, I was expecting to come out of pocket a decent amount, but to my surprise it was extremely affordable. I definitely look forward to making this my home dental office!

Chelsie, The Hygienist and Doctor Fritz were amazing. I have really really bad anxiety and debated even going in this morning but when I met Chelsie, she made me feel so comfortable and explained everything to me before we went to the next procedure. She was so wonderful! She explained everything to the hygienist and doctor and advised of my anxiety. She was the best and I'm happy to have worked with her today! So grateful for my experience!

Taylor was super sweet and awesome with me. I suffer from extreme anxiety and she was with me every step of the way. Never rushed me. Dr Fritz was great too. They really took their time with me and explained everything to me. Made me feel safe.

Very friendly staff, convenient and communication was amazing. I felt very comfortable and doctor listened to concerns. Detailed treatment plan and didn't feel rushed to make decisions. Overall great visit. Glad I chose this office.

I felt seen and heard leaving this dentist's office. Genuinely kind, caring, and knowledgeable staff who all showed real concern about my well being and all worked together to provide relief. I have a generlized anxiety disorder and have never felt more comfortable during a visit. Each person that I spoke with educated me at every step throughout the appointment and double checked that I understood both the cause my toothache as well as the appropriate treatment. They roadmapped the entire treatment process along with costs in a warm and straightforward manner. If you are someone like me who suffers from mental illness, this office feels like a safe space.

I'm terrified of dentists. I went because I need a tooth pulled. Everyone from the receptionist, dental assistant to the dentist herself knew how scared I was and went out of their way to treat me with so much kindness. They would tell me what they were about to do before they even would touch me and then ask "are you ok with that or is it ok if I continue'. Both the dentist and her assistant sat and talked to me for a while to get to know me before they did anything. I HIGHLY recommend Merchants Way Dental. I only wish that all doctors, assistants and receptionists we're so kind and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back, they've earned my trust and that's not an easy j thing to do.
