At Merced Pediatric Dentistry, our doctors work as a team to provide all of our children and adolescent patients with the most advanced, comprehensive dental care available. Drs. Marie D. Moran and Teresa J. Lee all graduated from top universities where they each earned their Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. When performing surgeries on patients, Drs. Moran and Lee are assisted by an anesthesiologist who is specially trained to administer anesthesia to children. Together, Drs. Moran and Lee are dedicated to helping children achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles!
Dr. Marie Moran's enthusiasm and concern for the health of children is part of our goal to provide dental services in a caring atmosphere for children. Her pleasant demeanor and clinical competence is an asset to the Merced community.
Dr. Moran has over 15 years of experience in the field of pediatric dentistry. She completed undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California. Her dental training included two years in the advanced pre-clinical and clinical studies program at the University of Loma Linda School of Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Technological University of Mexico City. Dr. Moran is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Dr. Moran is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentists. She is an avid cyclist and has completed marathons and triathlons. Marie, her husband, Julio, and their son, Benjamin, have been a part of the Merced community since 2007.
Dr. Teresa J. Lee serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and is affiliated with the University Surgery Center. She enjoys traveling, fine art, aerobic exercise, walking and spending time with her family.
Louis has been with Merced Pediatric Dentistry since 2007. He joined the practice after graduating from Stanislaus State University with a BA, concentrating in marketing and finance. He is married and has two children. He loves to spend time with his family and when there is time, he likes to take pictures.
Crystal has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She is an administration assistant at Merced Pediatric Dentistry. She has been part of our team since 2007. She is reliable, consistant, accurate and very knowledgable about her job. Crystal has two beautiful daughters and an active little boy, Isaac. She enjoys spending her time with them. She also enjoys going out with friends, camping, and doing any outdoor activity.
Melissa is an experienced, caring registered dental asssistant. Melissa is now our greeter at front office reception. She is very knowledgeable and is always ready to not just help the patients and parents but to help and assist her co workers and doctors. She has an adorable active 3 year old daugther, Sophie and both she and her husband, Julio, love to spend time with her.
Debra has been an RDA for more then 20 years. She enjoys hiking and fishing with her husband. Debra has 2 adult children, a beautiful grand daugther, Sophie, a dog and a spoiled cat named Chloe. Deb is really the heart of our practice. She has helped and continues to help all: staff, doctors, patients, parents. She welcomes our graduated patients who now bring their children to our practice.
Alma has worked in the dental field since 2016. After many years of dental assistanting, she has accepted the challenging position of front office receptionist. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly, positive personality and radiant smile. Almais very dedicated. She likes to help patients and parents feel comfortable and answer any questions they may have. She values her time with her son, Daniel. She loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Amanda is a very jolly, dedicated, experienced registered dental assistant. She joined Merced Pediatric Dentistry in 2021. She is accountable, positive and likes to follow up patients. We are very pleased having her on board.
Vanessa is from Madera. She lived and worked in the Santa Barbara area for some time but her heart is in the central valley.She recently joined our team and we are all very pleased to have her on our team. Vanessa is very meticulous, caring and pays attention to detail. She is a natural leader and a pleaser. When she is not working she spends time with her fiancee, Leo.

I had a great experience with Dr. Moran. She made me feel comfortable with my sons procedure. She brought him a teddy bear the morning of the procedure and he loved it. She also kept me updated on what she did and even text me afterwards to make sure my son was ok.

I made a call before going in and that is what started probably the best interactions I've had with any medical facility. Walking in the girls at the front desk greeted us and were super understanding, helpful and welcoming. With my daughter being 4 and it being her visit , everyone made her feel comfortable and she enjoyed the visit. Thank you!!

My kids don't like loud noises and they do amazing in doing everything they can to make them feel comfortable. If my kids are having a hard time with something the dentist adjust to the kids not force them to adjust to the tools.

Right when we walked in we were surprised by the Halloween Decor. It was so COOL! My almost 7 years old had an appointment and loved the interior set up. It was very clean and all the employees were extremely nice.

The personnel there are super friendly, professional, compassionate and mindful of the patience's needs, and the doctors are very very skillful, professional, and attentive, they make my child feel safe and confident about letting them work on his teeth with no fear. Excellent with children!! Very good communication with parents, explained procedure in detail, and answered and questions we had. Called before procedure so we knew exactly what to expect and called after procedure to check on my child. Will not take our children anywhere else.

Dr Moran is so amazing with children. I have been taking my 7 yr old here since she got her first tooth. Amazing staff and a very caring and knowledgeable dentist, who knows exactly how to interact with kids in every stage especially scared little ones who really do not always want to cooperate. Even with a tough character like my little, Dr Moran never has forced any treatments. She has always been able to talk my little into it, even when she might be scared, like when having to have a tooth pulled, the adult tooth was already coming in without any space. I highly recommend Dr Moran and the entire staff at Merced Pediatric Dentistry . Thank you!
