Dr. Barnes is originally from Eau Claire, WI. She earned her DDS degree at the University of Iowa, and joins us at Menomonie Dental with a passion for making a difference in the lives of her patients. Whether that means getting someone out of pain or making someones smile bigger, Dr. Barnes passion for dentistry is rooted in creating positive changes for people. Dr. Barnes is an active member of the WDA, ADA, AGD, and helped start an on site dental clinic at the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic where she was a board member.
Dr. Barnes has a wonderful and active life outside of Dentistry. She has a passion for fitness including yoga, tennis, and running. She and her husband Brett also keep busy with their 3 children (including a set of twins!) and their dog Barkley. The Barnes family are also proud Badger and Packer fans.

Went in there for the first time. Was welcomed with professional courtesy, had a decent check-up and teeth cleaning service, and was given an affordable price. Overall, I'd give it two thumbs-up.

I had a terrible scheduling issue at my previous dentist where they constantly were canceling my appointments. So I called Menomonie Dental and they got me in the same day for a chipped tooth! Dr.Barnes really took her time with me and made sure I knew what she was going to do for my tooth and how we were going to proceed with future care. The whole staff seemed to really care for each patient and made sure they developed a relationship with everyone. They were so friendly, welcoming and helpful! I will be transferring all of my care to their clinic now!

Always friendly and very thorough. Dr. Barnes is also great with kids. She carefully explains what she will be doing before she does it, so you always know what to expect.

The staff really care about making you feel comfortable and safe. Your not gonna regret anything with the bright and affordable smile that you'll see in the mirror. I have personly overcame over 15 years of dentist worry and fear and I also hope others will do the same with puting there dental care into there caring hands.

The staff are super friendly and very welcoming! Was having a bad toothache late at night and needed to see a dentist. Based on the reviews on Google, I called to leave a message for the morning staff and was surprised an after-hour staff answered! Of course, being that it was late at night already, a note was left to have a staff member call me right away in the morning when the office opened, and someone did call me right away! I got in within a hour and got an X-ray and exam done right away (did not have to wait in the waiting area). However, I was a bit bummed I'd have to wait until the next week to get my toothache taken care. I just tried to remain positive and think it's because of Covid-19 and a last-minute call. So... I've been patiently baring the awful pain, maxing out on pain meds, and trying everything I can to ease the pain until I can be seen in two more days (Was seen on Wednesday, now it's Sunday. Scheduled to be seen on Tuesday). Highly recommended if you're not in much pain.

Love coming to Menomonie Dental! The staff is very friendly and Krista is an exceptional hygienist. Dr. Barnes has a gentle touch and is very thorough with her exam and recommendations. I had a great experience and highly suggest this dental office.

This was my first visit to Menomonie Dental. This is an unbelievably professional practice. I experienced great quality of care all the way from the receptionist to the hygienist and dentist. Great care, great advice, great education. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone.
